This is something myself, and I'm sure others will look into.
Sightings and other forms of contact may vary due to several factors.
1. public awareness of the issue.
2. increased or decreased media coverage affecting public awareness.
3. Amount of people who experience something and do/don't report it through any official channel.
4. Officially reported events that are deemed "above top secret" and withheld from further public knowledge.
That's just a few brief reasons as to how the figures may change. There may be several other reasons too.
But it does seem to me that sightings are being made around the world almost every day. Even 1 sighting every day is a lot. Weed out the mistaken
identity from the real UFO's and you might have quite a substantial number.
Just remember though... UFO means Unidentified Flying Object....
It does NOT mean Aliens, little green men, men from Mars or the man in the Moon.
