"A former Atlanta police officer on trial for a botched drug raid that led to the death of a 92-year-old woman"
..
"Kathryn Johnston was shot 39 times as plainclothes narcotics officers busted into her house using a "no-knock" warrant "

It blows my mind that this type of policy can be utilized and then covered up when it is abused. More and more freedoms of ours are being lost, granted this is supposed to be used for suspected drug dealers, so the officers can get to the drugs before they are destroyed. However, are not suspected drug dealers still innocent until proven guilty! Police should not have the option to pose as a house invasion and then blame the home owner for trying to protect thier property from unannounced invaders.
