Yet another excellent and most timely read from Global Research.

Yes indeed, the battle for this country has begun. And it pits the populace of this nation not only against an ever-corrupted cesspool of vested-interest politicians vying for their tickets to unlimited wealth and power, but their corporate, M.I.C., and Private banking masters who are TRULY controlling this nation.

The next disaster is upon us, with these same profiteers ratcheting up the rhetoric to start up wars with Iran and Syria, and as this article alludes to, perhaps well beyond--Into WWIII!

I can only hope that the sleeping masses awaken ASAP and stop this before it's all too late.

I wish people would wake up. But, if it's not effecting their daily lives or protruding the downloading of music, they will never want to even know.

I seen on TV on a security camera a lady getting stabbed in the street and people just walked on by just looking, but no one helped. I guess if it is not them, then oh well, that is how most people in the country view life. But, they will get a rude awakening when the internet gets cut off or starbucks closes down.

Great find! I just finished reading the article (found it at market oracle.co.uk). This is truly nauseating stuff. What's worse is that my friends and family think I (we!) are nut-jobs for even entertaining the thought that this stuff is true. That, coupled with the fact that we as a nation don't read, leads to the slim chances of a populist uprising throwing cold water on this disaster. I still hold out hope, just not much.

Upon reflection, I think it will take an epic calamity to wake us from our "info-tainment" torpor. Hopefully it doesn't involve cities on fire. G.

It raises a very good point about the Executive branch not wanting to enact measures akin to the New Deal.

However the reason behind that is the weakness of the dollar. Dollar Hegemony is ending around the world, and if the president took the step of printing further money to fund public infrastructure works, the dollar would fall into a full bore collapse.

Is the USA enslaved by some group who care more about their own control and wealth rather than the American people? In my opinion it is highly likely. The Rothschilds, the Morgans, the Rockefellers, Murdoch etc... These are the people with true power, and I doubt they plan on using it vicariously.

Its bad when you have to hint at the points made in the article and can't blatantly say it out loud, otherwise people put you in the crazy category. It's amazing, most people I ask, seem to believe 9/11 was an inside job, but will only talk about it if you bring it up. Why is it like this, why don't people just have open discussions about this type of stuff.

To be honest the government FEAR tactics have worked, I am afraid to talk about this in front of certain people in fear of being hauled away. You can say I am a coward, but when RENDITION happens on a regular basis what do you do.

If you look at new Hollywood movies, they actually hint at this in a non direct way. Look at the movie National Treasure (2), the guy was in the boat and the secret service agent said, you know because of the patriot act we can detain and hold you up to how long we see fit. I mean even movies put it in plain view, but people won't have discussions on it on TV, WHY?

Fear. Everyones afraid to speak their minds, because they know that, while free thought isn't directly illegal, you can still be hauled away indefinitely for it.


People are afraid of the government now. They know they no longer have rights that protect them from political brutality. This is why the US is no longer a free nation.


I know it's overdone, but I will have to bring up 1938 Germany here...
In the face of the Nazi party, the people of Germany were too afraid to speak out against their government.
People believed that if you weren't waving your flag as Hitler or his political buddies drove by, or said spoke out about a government decision in an angry demeanor, you'd be viewed as a terrorist, and hauled away indefinitely.

Because of this, people appeared as though they supported the governments use of torture, their aggressive military use, and the lock down of anyone who just didn't feel right to them.

Yes, the Nazi party used Terrorism as an excuse for both war and for torturing people.

The only difference I can see here is, the Jews aren't getting burned, and German isn't being spoken. Everything else is the same!
(Then again, who knows, maybe there are a few secret Muslim ovens)

I can't make the point any more bluntly than that.

I'm sorry I had to use the Nazi party to put the point across... but the point is there are too many people who are falling into the same trap, all over again!

Of all of the things I have read on ATS, that one line is truly one of the most horrifying. I mean, I knew this at some level already but to see it put in such stark, strategic terms - it's undeniable and it's chilling.

For those of us that can see what is happening to our country and the world, what exactly can we do about it? I mean writing your congress critter doesn't do anything, neither does voting. If we protest peacefully we get thrown in jail (I know from experience) or tazered.

That's my point we can't do anything except stand back and watch. I want to do something, I really do but there is nothing I can do. This is what angers me most.

Does any one have any ideas on how we the people can stop these crimes being committed by our government?

Sounds like a bunch of BS to me. Again, there is no proof of anything and some people here latch on to somebody else's paranoid idea anyway. Oh well...

The battle for America began for me in 1963. Where were you?

I pledged all I had and every fiber of my being then. Nothing has changed except the names of the real players.

I have been blessed or fortunate enough to outlive most all who have chosen to be my enemy.

As far as I know everyone except a few trolls and some disinfo agents on ATS are people tghat I consider friends even though I disagree with all of them on a few issues.

I welcome you younger folks into the fray. If I can help, I can take orders as well as lead.

Welcome warrior.

For me at least I have distilled it down to what works for me.

Family and friends first, God, whatever that may mean to you, and the constitution.

I have been very lucky to have been allowed for a while to play with some of the biggest, baddest folks out there.

I am now keeping it very close to home since I have 2 sons to finish raising and a mother and few elderly aunts to look out for.

I am however more than willing to persue whatever convinces me it will help to insure that those that are close to me have the same advantages I was blessed with.

There is a bigger plan known only by the elite few and unfortunately all we can do is take a side, take a look and watch it unfold.

The best Advice I can give everyone now is to stock up on all the caned foods you can. Now, while there is still some on the shelves. If nothing happens then what does it hurt you will just have some extra canned foods.
