I saw this on last weeks episode of UFO Hunters on the History Channel. It has been bugging me ever since.

What aircraft is this?

Interesting thing about the HiMat was that it was designed to have an interchangeable wing, I have a diagram laying around somewhere that shows it with FSW and delta wings as well as endplate fins and some other configs. As far as I know only the one in the photo was ever flown though?

Correct; it was built to be modular to test the different layouts, but the program never did this.
