Hello 2 cents,

I really liked what the guy said in his speech at the end and his message about an informed public.

I like it when government has to fight it self that’s the way it should be.

When the house the senate and the white house are all one Party its not good for any one.

Pulling against each other is freedom, working together is tyranny……..I think good old Benny said that

But again whatever path this country takes is our own fault. So lets wish our selves the best………

I'm sure many will appreciate this thread as Kennedy sounds very convincing and seems to speak the truth.

However, I try not to lose sight of the fact that what is occurring today probably isn't about the neocons securing scarce resources, nor is it about terrorism and religion, nor is it about the US taking over the world but rather I believe that this is about the New World Order (as mentioned by Sarkozy, Gordon Brown, Putin, Bush (41,43), Clinton (s), Kissinger etc, etc)
Sure, the neocons seemed to have been much more blatant and obvious in their plans but it's not as if nothing ever happened under Clinton's watch (WTC '93, Oklahoma, Waco plus numerous conflicts of war)

I was surprised to find out that 9/11 'truther' David Ray Griffin was a self confessed globalist and believes that sovereign states have a limited life.
Don't forget H Clinton, Obama and McCain are all globalists too.

There has been an abundance of seemingly excellent research conducted into Bush, Cheney et al and their evil ways which is quite damning but is this really just another step toward the NWO? Who is going to stop these 'crazy' neocons? The EU, the UN, Russia, China? Someone is going to have to step up and when they do, I'm sure many will go along with it - and before long all our rights as we know them will have vanished - all for the greater 'good'.
If the Dems are going to be any different then why hasn't impeachment ever been considered and why are innocent people still dying in Iraq?

No, I don't believe you are comprehending. What you are doing is called ad hominem attacks. Need a definition?

An ad hominem argument, also known as argumentum ad hominem (Latin: "argument to the man", "argument against the man") consists of replying to an argument or factual claim by attacking or appealing to a characteristic or belief of the person making the argument or claim, rather than by addressing the substance of the argument or producing evidence against the claim. The process of proving or disproving the claim is thereby subverted, and the argumentum ad hominem works to change the subject.

Source

Is there any question that you are simply using ad hom attacks? I don't think so.

So let's move on to the next problem. Ad homs aside, do you have anything productive to add? Did you listen to what he said? Do you have any proof?

A link. A book. A fact. Something.

Exactly. Good point with Jose.

He was battered with ad hominem attacks. No one questioned the material he brought forth, only him.

They are meaningless and add nothing to the conversation. They aren't even allowed in court unless the person they are attacking is expressing opinion. Even still, you can't just ad hominem, you have to provide reasons why their statements are false.

You can't just come in and say, "Well this guy so and so, end of story".

And on a side note to everyone else, can we quit talking about the "reptilian part of the brain". I realize the is a conspiracy site, but I don't think he was talking about reptilians or anything out of context.

Great Vids. If you want an even greater video that takes the American illusion and Government manipulation deeper, watch David Icke's 'From Prison To Paradise' series on youtube. Search 'david icke from prison to paradise'. VERY intriguing information found there. Thanks again OP for this thread

It's as plain as the nose on your face.. that's the kind of guy who should be running your country. He actually knows what he's talking about. He is astute, well informed, intelligent, charismatic, genuine, honest, a natural leader and he truly cares about the people of America. Do you know anyone who doesn't foot that bill?

I want to first point out that I am not disagree or agreeing with your statement. I just want to make a point to another member:

Riposte

This post is the kind of post you can ad hom. You see, when talking of a matter of opinion (such as he is good to be running the country), then bringing up personal attacks is plausible. It's not necessarily fair or ethical, but it's allowed.

There's a big difference between personal attacks when someone is speaking in facts versus opinion.

I just wanted to add that the speaker before RFKJ was Greg Palast. His presentation was equally as informative. I wasn't familiar with Palast before yesterday.

Basically his presentation was on voter fraud and he had documentation that Karl Rove had accidentally sent to the wrong website address. It was classic! Rove was trying to send this information through a George Bush website, but instead of typing "GeorgeBush.com" he typed "GeorgeBush.org" (or something to that effect). Thusly, the information was intercepted and then brought to Rove's attention by Palast and his team. As you would expect, Rove and his "Rove-bots" (Palast's term) had a meltdown and started spinning out of control.

Peace

The comment was more 'argumentum ad verecundiam' than 'ad hominem' surely. I will be very careful not express my opinion in future. Thanks for pointing it out.

I wasn't even talking to you. I was just using your line as an example of when he could use ad hom to attack the Kennedy family.

I was not commenting on what you said.

At the risk of being decapitated here by sensitive English majors... I really don't have an opinion to post regarding the differences between Dems and Reps, NWOists and the inimitable, effervescent Icke"ites". I would, however, like to say that this thread is informative, and really, to all intent and purpose, a good read.

Thanks all. And I will now duck back into my cave before the "Beheading Implement of Ad-HominenDoom" is swung in my general direction.

Not sure why you're being so snide towards me. I was just trying to say that it's not fair to attack the man's family when he's just trying to share his thoughts on the country.

I think my intentions have been misrepresented. All I was trying to do was use his post as an example of an opinion.

I have just been trying to keep this thread from being derailed into an "I hate the Kennedys" thread.

Wow. I'm floored. I'm actually agreeing with a Kennedy. Not on every single point, of course, but I think much of what RFK Jr. has to say is indeed true. Common sense, actually. What's so astounding is that it's actually coming out of his mouth. I've never seen him or any (living) Kennedy be so balanced and free of BS and mudslinging. I couldn't believe it when he mentioned the great Republicans of the past. I am truly impressed.

What's more, I can't believe that I heard him say that we need to keep big government at bay, because most of what I've heard him say before was advocating expansive government, largely on environmental regulation. And I couldn't believe my ears at him saying that business, and even big business are good things (as long as they keep the hell away from government). I couldn't agree more.

It's not often enough that we look back to the founding fathers to understand the roots of some of our conflicts that are still present today, such as the issue of a Fed, and as RFK Jr. mentioned, who should have the right to vote. The issue has been raised on ATS before of having some sort of measure to make sure voters are informed before allowing them to cast a ballot. According to RFK Jr., Jefferson wanted everyone to be able to vote so the only way to make sure the voters were informed was to mandate a requirement for public education. I just can't understand why he would think that every single person who entered school would leave it more educated. Of course he couldn't have envisioned the piles of crap that pass for public schools today. But I guess that's optimism for you.

Again, great speech, and great thread.

I have never been a Kennedy fan at all, but after watching these
videos, I am indeed impressed with this man. What he says is the
truth and we all need to take heed.

I actually got to meet Bobby Kennedy just a month or so before
he was killed. I was never a follower of them, but there is a lot of
truth to these videos.

Dr Love, excellent post. Thank you. RFK is very smart. I hadn't heard him speak until tonight. He speaks the truth. The U.S.A. is definitely slipping into Fascism. It's time to turn the boat around.

What I've never understood maybe would be why people can't listen to pacifica and Rush Limbaugh? Why not both or mutiple points of views? Seems that most people only listen or watch their ideological partners and ignore their thought of enemy. ANy good lawyer though would listen to all points of view as a judge would be required to do, that maybe why law, logic and philosophy need to be reinstituted into high school curriculums. The sooner the better, or people should pull their kids out and home school to get the best perspective rather than a liberal or conservative only view. Sadly people either get trained to follow the government or follow the corporations, when they should be neither and should always be suspicious of any information, including purported science understandings as well.

I think what RFK was saying was that we really only have the Rush Limbaughs and the Bill O'Rellys right now.

There are very few strong liberals on TV and radio to choose from.

I only got to watch the first video, but I liked where he was going.

This is the thing as I see it. Whether it is government controlling business or business controlling government, or you call it communism or fascism, or socialism or the free market, it all leads to the same thing, feudalism, the control of the many by the few.

Watching this election cycle, I am coming to the belief that the democratic party can not be saved. The unrealistic idealism of special interests politics has too much influence, and has basically destroyed the party.

This is my problem with the too many people in the middle, and that is that they believe in this free market capitalism nonsense. Markets are not free, they are not individuals with god given rights, they are arenas of competition, and their existence depends on an evenly enforced fair set of rules. What the whole free market capitalism concept does is write the rules in the favor of the rich and powerful, and once again feudalism takes control. The free market concept is communism or fascism, how ever you want to label it, re-packaged to make it seem like it is a market system, when it is not.

Government has an important role in regulating business, and that is why business and government must remain separate. Clinton's third way economic concepts, where government works to facilitate business, by evenly enforcing a fair set of rules worked very well to encourage entrepreneurship, and promote prosperity in our country, and across the globe. The corporate controlled media of course hated this, and have been tarring the image of the Clintons ever since he defeated the first Bush. I am well informed of all the accusations against them, and it is all a crock of BS.

The democratic parties strong arm efforts to get Obama, who is an old fashioned pro-welfare, affirmative action liberal, into the democratic nomination was discussed as far back as last year, with the current situation being accurately predicted. Stripping Florida and Michigan of their delegates while moving up S Carolina and Nevada gave Obama the advantage going into Super Tuesday, and the demographics of each candidates base clearly illustrates this. Now we have this mess. Personally, I don't see either party as representing a majority of the people of the U.S.. Both parties seem only to represent those at the economic extremes.

I think this video of this BBC journalist schooling this young lady who is apparently one of Obama's inner circle people really illustrates a great deal behind the unrealistic idealism of the left who continue to control the democratic party. She went into with a huge number of political life points with her pulitzer, but walking away barely still in the game. As the interview proceeds you can almost hear the video game bell sound as her political life points are being stripped away. It is nice to see a real journalist in action, the locker room boys our media puts up look more pathetic than ever when you compare them to the job this guy does.
