This thread was pointed out to me because of my cam, so I figured I'd join, say hi and explain the entire setup, ONLY to prevent potential nervous
breakdowns
.
I have a little wildlife rescue in Stephenville, 2 minutes walking distance from the airport. I had gotten a camcorder a week before the first
sighting occurred. No, I personally did not see anything out of the ordinary, sorry.
To make a long story short, the camcorder is located in front of my window. When the weather is warm, the window is open, which was most of the past
couple of weeks. However, yesterday and today we actually have snow on the ground, so there's no way I can have an open window here.
The night time issues, same problem. I can't leave a window open over night especially not with a $350 camera saying "hey, over here, steal me!",
that's not the smartest idea
.
Besides that, the camera has no night time vision, it's totally useless. I bought it to document the progress of the animals here at the rescue, not
to observe potential UFOs.
However, any suggestions are welcome..I am game for just about anything to get to the bottom of this.
