I've been watching this webcam for the last 30 minutes and theres alight in the sky that doesn't move.

Is this the sun or could it be one of the ufo's?
The sky is cloudy so how could the sun do this?

Well, its not there now.

My husband seen it too.
It could have been a refection of something but if not it will be back I hope.

I watched it for quite awhile before I posted this.
It never moved and looked like a round glowing object to the right of the screen near the top of one of the trees.

I don't suppose you took a screen cap of it did you? Cause without one, there's really nothing to go on.

The sweet young lady that runs that skycam says that it 's just a reflection of a candle she had lit.

Well we have the answer!

I think I'll watch more often now.

Thanks for that information.

Can someone tell me why the webcam isn't on, or wasn't on a few minutes ago?

This thread was pointed out to me because of my cam, so I figured I'd join, say hi and explain the entire setup, ONLY to prevent potential nervous breakdowns
.

I have a little wildlife rescue in Stephenville, 2 minutes walking distance from the airport. I had gotten a camcorder a week before the first sighting occurred. No, I personally did not see anything out of the ordinary, sorry.

To make a long story short, the camcorder is located in front of my window. When the weather is warm, the window is open, which was most of the past couple of weeks. However, yesterday and today we actually have snow on the ground, so there's no way I can have an open window here.

The night time issues, same problem. I can't leave a window open over night especially not with a $350 camera saying "hey, over here, steal me!", that's not the smartest idea
.

Besides that, the camera has no night time vision, it's totally useless. I bought it to document the progress of the animals here at the rescue, not to observe potential UFOs.

However, any suggestions are welcome..I am game for just about anything to get to the bottom of this.

Welcome MissD. It's nice to have you on board here at ATS. Our friend Ms. Joiner is also a member, but doesn't post here often. She's heavily involved in the other board.

Love your cam. I find myself glued to it quite often.

That certainly was a heck of a lot of fun. I didn't get to sleep until well after 2:00 AM!

Anyway, did you ever figure out if you could stitch the stills together from each day? I remember the first one you did with your previous equipment. That was fantastic.

Thank you for getting this information!
It seems to me that alot of people are looking at these webcams.
Hopefully we will see something this time.
I don't know why but I'm getting a little uneasy about these rainbow colored lights that they seen.
TO me, they look "alive".
I always come back to remembering what Darknight said in his thread.
'Ask yourself if it is real".
He said that there would be "lights in the sky"
Thanks again!

Thank you so much for responding to this thread!
It could be your webcam that films the next ufo!
Have a great time on ATS!

Thank you for the warm welcome
.

Here are 3 days worth of time lapses. Not perfect, not good quality, but the good news is, that it'll get better starting with today's pictures, which I haven't' worked on yet. I'll wait until it's dark and I have to turn the cam off.

stephenvilleufos.blogspot.com...

I'm looking forward viewing today's footage, because something was going on there in the skies and I really hope the cam caught something of it.

MissD,

Is it my imagination or is there a bright moving object in todays film?

If it is I'm so excited!

Did you see this object or was it invisable?

How did you know that something up there ?

It looked like there was one large one and several smaller ones.

Can't wait for your reply .

Yes, I saw them on the video and through the view finder. We had those before and decided those were reflections from the sun. I know they look exciting, got me the first time I saw them too, but when I zoom into them, they stay the same, when I move the camera, they stay where they are too, so it's got to be sunlight, since it's coming from that direction too.

However, there were some other things, such as this, that I'm not sure of:

I snagged this picture, because I saw it on the desktop display of the cam and when I looked outside the window, I saw it too. No engine noise.

I think you captured something there.
I tried to magnify it and crop it but I'm not good at doing that.
Maybe one of our great members can do it .
I'm glad you figured out the other objects.
Maybe you'll catch more more on your webcam.
At least I hope so..lol
There are alot of people watching it now.

Keep up the good work!

Now it would be great if you happened to capture a mile long UFO

Who knows, maybe.
