To me, God is the Prime Initiator. God is whatever it is that began everything. As to whether God is all knowing, all seeing and all loving as He is
often described, well that is another matter altogether. In this case, God is an ideal that man developed to help make sense of the concept of
eternity and to give meaning to our existence. To this end, God is an ideal, a concept from which our common philosophy of moral growth, spiritual
existence arose.
I believe that God, whether it is an actual being, a sphere of energy, a spirit of light or whatever He might be, is unknowable. Religion arose
as a matter of course in our effort to understand the unknowable. In the process, philosophy was developed in an effort to know ourselves and thus to
help ourselves to understand our creator.
