I was just reading this article...www.msnbc.msn.com... today and saw that the S&P 500 dropped 1235 points today! That is a 90% decrease. This cannot be good. I am not a pro at stock trade info so if someone can enlighten me as to what this means that would be great. I don't think I have ever seen that this low, but I could be wrong. Someone please input.
Mods if this info on S&P has been posted please let me know. Thanks!

It was remarked on another thread that it was merely a glitch. Can't find it, gotta get back to work!

Really? I wish you could have found where that was posted, work first though.
I have not heard of that being a glitch anywhere on the net...If someone knows where that is please post on here. Thanks!

Thanks JacKat!
I will contribute to that thread. It is still showing on the web as falling 90%.

It was appearing on the FoxNews ticker as well so the glitch was probably generated from wall street, it would pop up like that every few minutes or so.

I would think some might have had quite a SHOCK seeing that flash across the wires

anyone looking at it would have the knowledge (presumably) to know that the drop in dollars wasn't being shown with the correct corresponding percentage.
