PRINCE HARRY FIGHTS ON FRONTLINES IN AFGHANISTAN; 3 MONTH TOUR

www.drudgereport.com

They're calling him "Harry the Hero!"

British Royal Prince Harry has been fighting in Afghanistan since late December -- and has been directly involved in battle.

Australian magazine NEW IDEA and the German daily BILD have broken world embargoes on the development. CNN has debated internally on the merits of reporting Harry at war.

Harry the hero pffft kind of makes me feel sick inside.

Yer he joined the army so he is going to war so what ? What makes him any different from any other soldier that put's there life on the line ?

Maybe from being in such a # hole like the one he is going too he will realise what a # state our armed forces are in and ask nana for some pennies.

Honestly hope he returns safe and sound but he joined to do a job i hope. Not to glorify himself in future time's.

Take care.

Regards
Lee

I hope everyone out there stays safe, and give no special hope to any individual.

shame we cant say the same thing about the polititions who start these wars,
how many of their relitives and kids from the US/UK are on the front line?

Kudos to the chap and what he has had to go through just to get a posting after being told No so many times due to the risk to his life.

guess that is what seperates polititions from the rest

Without debating the point of whether it is politicians that start all the wars, I will say that there are quite a few politicians who have children serving in the military. I remember it being pointed out as part of a Michael Moore film debunking.

Just look at how many politicians who are veterans and members of famous families.

Whereas I give special hope to every one of our troops.

This story was apparently released in the Australian Magazine New Idea back on Jan 7th. Read story here. The amazing thing is it had to get to the Drudge report before the UK media was forced to pick up the story..

There's something wrong with your link - it doesn't take us to the story.

Anyway, can't fault the UK press for keeping it low key. Harry is a highvalue target.

Looks like they pulled the story off their site after it caused such a ruckus. If you look at the link it is still called Harry goes to war in Afghanistan but the page just shows his Bio..
