Ok I'm sure a lot of people have seen this before
Frankly, I want one... I will build it myself if I have to
I know the military bought the patent but there have to be some enthusiasts out there
Something to play with till they release the zero-grav stuff... looks fun
Thoughts anyone?

It looks like the Aircar idea pretty much, if its useing thrust from turbines.

pretty cool, I want the Anti Gravity device that can opperate at the Opposite Electromagnetic Frequency of the earth;s In theory allowing you to Hover.... You can have 4 of these, or one and just alter the settings a smige and move fowards based apon the small adjustments in your frequency.

Same kinda idea with magnetics that could build a free energy device.

Wow found an even better quality video of it...

www.youtube.com...

Was designed in 1955
The Army discontinued it for better... they don't want it fine I'll take it!!
and yet we still don't have flying vehicles for the general public

I'm sure they have made many improvements on this design since then

Ha Ha yes funny how we all have the same ideas
I played around with that idea for awhile when i was younger, basic electromagnetic repel and attraction to move you across the the geography
but i think the force that the earth gives off is too weak, isn't it
otherwise we would have figured this out

The WASP runs on fuel (unfortunately)

quote from
douro20 who posted this on Youtube:
This is powered by a Williams F107 turbofan, a low-bypass turbofan which powers several cruise missiles including the Tomahawk. It is a very small engine; only a little less than a foot in diameter and four feet long, 146lb dry weight and 660lb static thrust. The vehicle had a lot of potential but the project was discontinued in favor of more capable helicopters.

The WASP even looks more stable than Moller International's flying car--but Moller's is much prettier, like something out of Cowboy Bebop

Ever since I saw the video of the W.A.S.P. I've wanted to build one.
I found pictures and specs of the turbo fan jet engine, the WR-19, that flies
that thing. Can't be to hard to make one

The wasp reminded me of the segway. The narrator talked about the control of the craft and it sounded somewhat similar. I've seen a few ufo videos that could easily be one of those dressed up for halloween.

any PS2 gamers? they make an appearance in "Metal Gear 3: Snake Eater".

i've seen that YouTube video before. it is a really cool looking ride.
kinda looks like a horseless chariot.

here's what i would do with one if they sold them to the public:
take it to a custom shop and get it "pimped" out.
-killer a/v system
-lcd monitors
-way cool lighting and ground effects
-paint it midnight blue with yellow accents, maybe some sort of mural

can you imagine having one to commute to and from work, that would so be "jetsons", except it does not fold up into a brief case.

i know that this is not a flying car, it could be the next best thing.

i did see also the video of the flying car concept. i found it to be really noisy, but i still would want one.

though the concept of a flying car is cool one, i would imagine it would fall under the realm of the FAA, since it is airborne and traveling great distances at a high rate of speed.

Jet Man is pretty cool too... But back to the wasp. I don't see how it wouldn't be commercially viable. Could you imagine hoping in that to commute to work. 30 minutes at 60 mph would give a 30 mile range. That would suffice for most commutes. No more gridlock and great gas mileage.

That would be a killer medic delivery system in a city !

Imagine it - a paramedic team would have a response time measured in minutes even in down town LA in rush hour.

Oh and I want one too !

ive come up with an idea to create a fuel-less engine. just messing around with prototype. is giving off very low power, but hey, its a start. if i make any advancements i'll let ya's know

Would you be willing to share some of that info you got about the WP-19? I have a friend that built his own jet engine for his go Kart. Runs great but a little loud. I would really like to have any info on how to consturct this thing.
Thanks, Flybob
