Serb church urges state of war over Kosovo

www.alertnet.org

BELGRADE, Feb 17 (Reuters) - Serbia should rally its armed forces, declare Kosovo 'occupied territory' and buy weapons from Russia to reclaim it, the head of the Serb Orthodox Church in Kosovo was quoted on Sunday as saying.

This is expected, but this will get worse. Even the newspapers seem to have lost their minds there.

Check out this story:
Serbs in for long-haul fight against Kosovo state
www.alertnet.org...

"Kosovo will never get a seat at the United Nations as long as Serbia has the support of Russia and its President Vladimir Putin," said Aleksandar Vucic of the opposition Radicals, Serbia's biggest party.

The most bizarre part is the headlines on the Daily Express paper, which I cant repeat in ATS, due to the language.
Sounds real concilatory.

Right, it IS very unChristian, but the whole reason the place has been unstable for as long as it has is religious. Christians against Muslims and Muslims against Christians. Mass slaughters and inhumanities on both sides. Nasty business that probably won't allow the new nation to have peace.

I'm so sick of zealots and fanatics.

indeed, basicly just another complicated saga of tribal warfare, each side has its own identifiers such as ethnicitity, heritage, class ,relgion or whatever and they all band together under thier primate instincts to form tribes.you can see it everywhere in the human and animal world its omnipresent.

karl marx almost got it right when he said history is the history of class struggle, its actually tribal struggle, firstly within your own tribe ie to gain the highest status within it and then the struggle with other tribes ie other nations, clans gangs, sports teams, workplace group you name it!.

also its obvious america is just annoying russia by promoting kosovon independance, but the question must be asked,if it leads to bloodshed would it be worth it?,if it does lead to conflict the serbs will win hands down and were back to square one!

Ah, but they got along so well, for so many hundreds of years until certain 'other' nations began stirring the pot.

Almost certainly, many of you know personally those from either side who lived cheek by jowl for generations. And intermarried.

As always, follow the money. Not immediately obvious, but a little research reveals much.

Meanwhile, money is doubtless behind the rabble rousers.

Very clearly, certain 'someones' have a vested interest in pitting Muslims against the rest.

Do rank and file Muslims realise they're been used a the blunt instrument however ? Probably not .. all carried away with emotionalism and fired with 'righteous' anger that if they stopped to think about it, and followed the trail back, they would realise was orchestrated.

Killings on one side blamed on the other.

Retaliation.

Other side retaliates.

And those who threw the first bombs, fired the first shots, are sipping latte now somewhere in the Mid-East and running their fingers over their handy pocket calculators, assessing their improved bank balances.

Just keeps happening.
