Germany launches comic book on Holocaust

BERLIN (Reuters) - German schools will launch a comic book next week that aims to teach above all underprivileged children about the Nazi era and the Holocaust.

A Comic Book on the Holocaust? Interesting. Releasing it for Educational purposes? Sounds kind of weird.... I suppose if its for educational purposes, it might do some good.

I prediction of the mixed feelings and responses your post will get:

1. "Now they are brainwashing our kids with comic books!"
2. "Its tasteless to be making a comic out of this horrible event!"

and then the more balanced response:

"Weird. Just weird".

Is that good or bad? I really didn't get the "point" of your post.....

The point of the post being that I cant immediatly see it as "good" or "bad".

Well Israel has comic books about their racial supriority, so why not a book by the Germans about the Holocaust? [this is going to get good. HaHa.]

Ooops me bad. Israelis weren't the only ones killed in the Holocaust. Duh on me!

Yea i suppose theres nothing really wrong with Germany educating the young generation, on what the Nazi's did to over 9 Million Jewish people.

Guranteed in the future, someone will make a comic book about the War to Terror/911/Iraq. That would probably be a best seller

just as long as there's not a musical about the holocaust where they do the charleston, i can't see this being any different than passing out a comic book on teen drinking or, say, bible comics.
