'Bizarre' New mammal discovered

They say that there are still thousands of new species out there for us to find... But we must be getting near the limits of what we CAN find.

The whole story

Always amazes me that there is so much out there that we just don't know! And this is just "our back yard" the rest of the universe... Wow don't even wanna go there, got work to do.

Dr Rathbun said: "I got these images, and said to myself: 'Boy, these look strange'. But you can't describe something new based just on photographs, so in March 2006, we went back in and collected some specimens."

I've had chicken nuts. A bit chewy and they didn't taste like chicken. Quite sure fish don't have nuts... hmmmm water nuts... hmmmm water chestnuts, they're always good with bamboo shoots of course.
