Several premises were searched and officers seized computers and materials to produce explosives.

I am all for the arrest of terrorists and stopping the groups that want to carry out the bombings. What just makes me wonder is the equipping your self with material to make explosives. The article listed did not say what the material was but am just wondering what material you have that would get you arrested.

hmmm it also says "The governing Socialist Party says that, during its four-year term of office, 300 Islamist militants have been arrested. " good on them i just hope these arrests are done legaly and there was a crime involved but hey i know nothing of spains laws or legal system .

yes you definitely got that right. I hope it was all done with just cause also. Maby some one who is in Spain can fill us in on what the mood there is in regards to this event.

The explosive materials were Triacetone Triperoxide.
It is the same material shoe bomber Richard Reid used and many suicide bombers use.

So I guess pulling out of Iraq did them no favors. When are they going to figure out that they are non Muslim and thats why the are having the terrorist problem?

I suspect that Spain will always remain a primary target for Muslim terrorists as it was under varying degrees of Muslim control for quite some considerable time.
