i second that. this has been a rewarding thread. takes stress out trying to make sense out of it all.

I predict we will reach 4,000,000 posts on 28 March, 2008. Why? I don't know, it just feels right as I sit in this New York City Hotel room looking over Times Square and it's because of this humble website that I am here.

Thank each and every one of you for such a tremendous site.

A couple years ago a certain blogger posted that if he didn't get 30 comments in next two weeks he'd give up blogging.

Well, of course, a blogger with better traffic started a comment party and he had his 30 comments in about 30 minutes. No rest for the weary, I guess.

Great idea!

May I humbly suggest a chronological display, so that those dates not yet selected be more easily determined, for those not yet "in the game?"

Which is not to say I'm not willing to share my admittedly biased personal selection, as I've already made clear, with my fellow fishies, minnie and shar.

There should be room enough for all to join in, IMHO, don't you think?

Additionally, with a chronological display, we can proceed through the "picks" as they occur, should the early dates prove to be off, and eliminate the "losers" until we get to the 23rd of February which is, of course, the correct date.

I'm also going with St. Patty's Day noonish est March 17th

I'm going to go for my birthday - 21st Feb.

Sad I know, but I'm useless at predicting stuff.

Do I get a prize if I'm right?

And I predict that it the subject of the post will be in response to a thread offering some kind of "smoking gun" proof of either Mars/Moon anomalies, or of one of the World Trade Center buildings being destroyed in some questionable way. Earlier in the thread there will be the obligatory Rorschach Test, consisting of a blurry, over-pixelated image of something.

Where's my ouija board? statistics calculator? crystal ball? Wait! I'll just use my handy dart and throw blindly at a calendar. There! The almighty dart has selected the following day: April 1, 2008, which is Aprils Fools' Day. Furthermore, I'll take a stab in the dark and guess the four millionth post will be entered in the evening.

Let me know if I get 'stars' for winning, so I could go shopping at the ATS store.

Very nice mate, you took the time to go through all the posts.

We need a bookmaker on ATS that can hold a hundred points from each member that enters and the winner takes the prize.
(minus 25% for the house of course. And the Mods will want a cut...)


But really, we should have a way to bet a few points on the outcome of certain threads.
I know I'd toss in some points to bet that we get confirmation of aliens by 2011.

I wouldn't want to start a death pool for who's going to die next, but the outcome of the next US election could be an interesting thing to bet on.

And hey, it's just points, if the bets are kept at 100 points even new members can afford to join the pool and maybe make a few thousand on a win.

We could have a branch of ATS called the ATS Casino. We could place point bets on anything. This would be very interesting, as it would give some key insider information on the minds of those viewing the site. The trends would be incredible to study. I hope the mods / admins allow something like this to go forward.

Anyway, still saying Feb 11th here. Most likely, it'll be in either a 9/11 thread or an ATS disinfo thread.

I absolutely love the idea of this as a fun thing for the 1,000,000 post thread with 100ATS points stake per person per guess, with the winner taking all.

Not so sure how it would work generally though - kind of like an in-line betting exchange I guess but how define the issues to be bet on and howdo you resolve an issue to payout? The world of conspiracies is too murky, surely?

Besides...a gambling Borg....you'd assimilate the gaming system and mke it work in your favour....
