Thank you for sharing this story.

Dave, I too lost my mother this year, and joined that club that nobody wants to belong to.

My heart goes out to you, and all others who loved your mom.

Dave,

I'm terribly sorry for your loss this Holiday season, but for what its worth, that was the most touching piece I have read in a very long time. I'm very proud to count you as a friend. Stay strong and keep on keeping on.

Very touching tribute to your great Mom, Dave. My Mom went on the 15th of Dec, but I was told when God goes into his garden, he only picks the best flowers and your Mom is a rose like mine was. Take care and God bless.

That was a great tribute, she obviously loved you very much although you were clearly a handful as a teenager.

I'm sorry for your loss Dave, however for as long as she's in your mind she's never really gone. A person is only truly gone when there is no one there to remember them.

My condolences to you and your family, try to have a happy holiday season.

Dave, my deepest feelings for what has come to you. Words are just that, and I will save mine for a day when I can shake your hand and look you in the eye. As one old soldier to another, "I stand beside you if you need me."
