Heads up to all in the midwest this week. Fox 4 in Kansas City now states that their models are calling for an ice storm Tuesday producing 2" of
ice. This is in addition to the freezing rain we are having this weekend. On top of that there is a chance of snow on Wednesday.
Make sure you have lots of food, water, firewood (if you have a fireplace), flashlights, and blankest on hand. The last time an ice storm like this
happened most people were out of power for up to two weeks. That is two weeks with out any heat. So be sure to remember to set all your faucets to
drip, to keep your pipes from bursting. Make sure your grills are set with plenty of gas or charcoal just incase, because that could be the only way
you will have to cook any food. Seal up any drafty windows. I found it helpfull to put a blanket up over the doors for when people come in and out.
Dont forget a first aid kit!!!
