VIENNA, Austria - U.N. experts have received satellite imagery of the site struck last month by Israeli warplanes and are analyzing it for signs that it might have been a secret nuclear facility, diplomats said Friday.

I have been pretty skeptical of the Israeli claims for some time now for a very simple reason: where are the "before" and "after" satellite photos? Now, it seems that some stuff is starting to trickle out and I may have to admit soon that that the Israeli sources were/are telling the truth.

Don't we have Google Earth to see if they have nuclear facilities or not?
If I can know the exact location of the bombed facility, I can check it out.

I'm not sure Google Earth would prove anything. Even if that part of Syria is not altitude-restricted, you're getting an image that could be five years older or more.

Ya also I've noticed in Google Earth that some of the pictures are very poor in resolution or have been blurred for unknown reasons.

If you really want to know and have a few thousand dollars, then you can task a commercial sattelite firm to take some snazzy pics for you....

Oftentimes it's because the image is of a classified military installation and has been censored for national security reasons.

the Israelis' & the world know that Syria already has a small research
oriented reactor on line for years now.

this supposed N Korea designed reactor was several years from finished construction, from Israeli spy analysts (Arutz Shiva? a Israeli news)

?So? why hasn't the nuclear reactor at the university been targeted?
spent fuel is dangerous and itself can be processed, centrifuged, enriched,
so why hasn't this other nuclear danger been reduced to rubble?

I smell a snake pit... the timing of attacking soverign Syria,
along with the war drums sounding from our White House,
and our keeping a distance from the Turkey-northern Iraq Kurds situation...
hezbollah, Lebanon, Iran, et al.



the false?/sexed-up reasoning, leading to the decision & need to bomb Syria.... is just adding more fuel to the explosive situation
that is being engineered by western forces

Still running the Middle East Nuclear Saga and searching for more info that hopefully will join the dotes.
