This looks to be a particular part of of a wider battle being waged in the GOP against anti-war and libertarian elements especially.

Anti-War.com has an article put out just today on this topic, illustrating how a NeoCon outfit called the "Club for Growth" seems to be bankrolling those willing to fight anti-war Republican party members for seats.

The effort to oust Jones demonstrates the essentially parasitic – and destructive – character of the neoconservative virus in the GOP. For these guys, it's rule or ruin: they don't care about regaining control of Congress (they gave up on that distant possibility a long time ago) or saving a conservative vote on fiscal and other matters. They care about one issue and one issue only: war and more war, as far as the eye can see. When they've run the GOP into the ground and reduced it to a mostly regional party, they'll abandon the dried-up husk and emigrate back to where they came from – the Scoop Jackson wing of the Democratic Party, where they can join Joe Lieberman, Joshua Muravchik, and Hillary Clinton's neoconservative fan club in ginning up a war with Iran.

When I see diatribes like this which point out stalinist, socialist Hitlary's "neoconservative fan club ", it just makes me laughpuke.
Looks like justin doesn't know a donkey from an elephant, or a communist from a "neoconservative".
Read with plenty o salt.
Keep Hitlary out of the whitehouse in any case or we'll have nationalized everything, and taxes rivaling Denmarks' or worse.
And probably a tax for exhaling (AGW co2 tax).
Say goodby to individual rights!
State uber allis!!! State is King!!
All hail the State!
with the State.

I guess the attempts to minimize his support are real after all.

If Ron Paul is successful at winning the White House and trimming government fat, I could lose my job. On another post a member accused me of being a government informant who works underground. I am no informant. I do work for a federal subcontractor in a former mine underground. No, I don't see anything even remotely important. I could speak for hours about government waste first hand, but I would lose my job. Anyway, the mainstream of the Republican Party is really shooting themselves in the foot. I'm all for bombing countries when they are a real threat, but landing troops is stupid. I plan on voting for Ron Paul because all the other Republicans and the Democrats will further bankrupt us. They are surpressing Paul because both parties now want big government. No, job is worth going through the Great Depression. As far as secret underground government bases go, don't worry the NWO doesn't have any secret grand underground bases. Besides, my location isn't secret or government anymore it's privately owned. Ron Paul is our only hope for true reform. The media would consider him the Second Coming if he was a Democrat or if Hitlary wasn't running.

Do we really have to do this all over again?

Does anyone think anything different will happen?

Ron Paul is supported by everyone except Republicans.

Republicans choose their candidate....not the scum of the Earth.

Ron Paul Fantasy Part 2 continues.
