Obama Urges The Creation Of "The Kingdom Of God"
Posted October 8th, 2007 by MrGoldMongoose

right here on earth. Talk about deliver us from evil. Does this comment scare YOU, or is it just me? I simply do not know how his idea of a Socialist Utopia equates to the kingdom of God. See bottom of article at link below.

politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com...

could he be preparing for or speaking of the anti-christ? just wondering what you alls thoughts were on this.

seperation of church and state is a myth. The church has been in control for so long, it will be very hard to pry that control from them. It is frightening that we have these people who are bent on pushing these religious views into the politics of the nation. But it is nothing new. Religion has long been the controlling force of humanity, and sadly I do not see it ending anytime soon, short of an earth shattering event completely disproving all the worlds religions at once.

which is very highly unlikely at this time.

The UN has a church of its own planned.

He was at a church. He was saying what they wanted to hear. He probably had nothing of substance to say, so he said that.

I've watched him a few times, I still cannot tell what he is all about. Maybe I need to have a 200+ IQ to relate to him, I don't know.

The kingdom of God on Earth is within, to cast out the darkness and live in only love and faith gives the complete peace that is our saviour our Lord Jesus Christ.

A favorite video of mine.

and he was looking to be such a nice, secular candidate... this is so unfortunate. why do candidates have to play up their religion? don't they forget that part of the constitution where "no religious test" is required for any governmental position?

Because they know if they want to get into office at some point your faith does become an issue and does matter. Not that I am saying it is right but if you want to win you have to connect with the voters, and well this is just another example of that. Not that it really matters much he is just doing what every other politican does these days and tell people what they want to hear and then go bow before the corporations anyway.

Obama is the antichrist! I've always said so. If you're going to vote (if we reach that point again) careful who you vote for

I think it would be wonderful to have the kingdom of God here on earth. The problem is whose idea of God? Someone earlier stated that a socialist society would not be their idea of the kingdom of God, but to me socialism is an extension of Jesus' statement that we should "do unto others as ye would have them do unto you." Some other people's ideas of what the kingdom of God would be terrify me. Obama would be wiser to separate church and state.

You are right. Hillary is Madam President.

However, it IS important that people hear what Obama is spewing so that we can be sure that they understand who he is and why they shouldn't vote for him.

He says he wants 'the Kingdom of God' here on earth? When you take a look at his church and what they stand for ... that's a frightening 'Kingdom of God'.

HERE is a thread on his church. If THIS is the crap that he thinks 'the Kingdom of God' should be like ....
