I don't know about Portugal or the U.K., but from what I understand here in the USA, that is called Child Endangerment and/or neglect.

Well I said that from the start, they are culpable even if they didnt kill her and was accused of being harsh.

They were both doctors, they could afford to leave them with someone. They didnt do that because they were giving them sedatives to make them sleep and it all went wrong.

They should still be charged even in the best case scenario of her being returned alive.
