Hi Flyer, I agree.. It is our history of revolution, westward expansion and later absorbtion of all the peoples of the world to populate or land that brought about our gun laws and policy. Can you imagine this melting pot of humanity all living together in relative harmony without our personal arms to maintain and ensure the peace?

Government has the capability to check and balance it's people, while the people have the capability to check and balance it's government.
