Okay, the game site has been changed.

I entered an arbitrary answer and got this reply...

I do not know how to answer that.

still cookies are not being set though.

We have to find the clue to the first question...

Great, they decide to open the agme back up on a US National holiday, when a lot of people are doind holiday things with the kids, etc.

We are going to need some help in finding the first clue that will really start the game and activate the "seeker" cookie on the game site.

Not meaning to downplay the first find, downintheupside, it was a great catch!

but we still have to figure out how to activate the game, so to speak. Also, there could be some confusion as to which domain the game is to be played on, as three domains appear to act the same.

entering a false answer in either of these gives the same message "I do not know how to answer that"

So perhaps that will be another obstacle to overcome.

Well. It seems by the eye's response "I don't know how to answser that"... that we should be asking the eye a question rather than giving it an answer as has been done in the past.

At this point I don't think it will matter what site we use Mech, at least I hope not.

You are right, this would add so much confusion to the whole game, I just don't see them doing this atm.

Oh ya, by the way, when I saw this thread had bumped, it said S.O. was the last poster, that is the whole reason I went straight to the thread thinking he had a date set for the game restart, but instead there was that cryptic post... then the name changed to "The Eye".

Hmmm.....

I am assuming that there may be other inserted entries on other posts, with further clues. But where to begin, is the question.

So far today, I have breifly browsed the threads that have been replied to today, but nothing that stands out.

It will most likely be by accident that someone finds the next clue.

I also browsed some of the recent threads in the Games forum, to no avail.

Anybody notice when you try an answer "99 is the number" changes to something else. I can't tell what it is though.

It appears that allthelies.info has some "info" on it. check it out. Its different than allthelies.org.

Actually not. It still has the coding for the completed game, ALLtheUFOanswers.

It is one of the domain name prizes, but it it not a clue.

I have all the sites listed open, and they are all the same.

They do call a strange _javascript file from www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js - I wonder what that is?

I wonder what the deal is.

It's got to have something to do with "knowing what to ask and to ask what to know" to kick this thing off. ( I think)
