Hector "Big Weasel" Marroquin, 51 -- who founded the one-time city-funded group "No Guns" in 1996, purportedly to work against gang and gun violence in the inner city -- is charged with the sale of an assault rifle, a machine gun, two pistols and two silencers, Susan Raichel, a spokeswoman with the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms told the Los Angeles Times.

This is the second time this man has been arrested with weapons charges.

The founder of the group "No Gun" claims that he has helped 60 gang member find jobs.

The story goes that he used to belong to the "18th Street Gang", and he claimed to have left that life when his son was shot.

The anti-gun group "No Guns" had recieved $1.5 million before the contract was cancelled last year.

It appears this gang member found a legal way to actually recieve money from the city, and still sell weapons to gangs.

Well, thats just good business. Push to outlaw legal guns, demonize legitamite gun owners, then jack up the prices of the illegal guns and sell, sell, sell.

"Big Weasel."

The whole gun control debate is epitomized by this case, but I'll bet you won't hear a thing about this on CBS News.

Well, I take that back. It is on CBS News.

Yeah it is on CBS news, but i doubt you'll find it on TV, or it will be pushed to a two minute segment almost at the end of the newscast.

Yeah. Katie Couric would have a seizure just thinking about this case.

That is very funnily ironic, I have to admit that.

Perhaps deep down he only believed in banning guns in places where gun violence from
gangs was prevalent.

I agree. Kinda like, "Justice is Done".

If you believe that, I have some arid land to sell, in the Louisiana Delta.

Seriously, and assuming you believe what you wrote, why would he be
SELLING them ?

I don't necessarily believe it, in fact I could'nt say either way unless I had a psychological profile of him.

I'm just saying it could be possible.
