FBI plans a big tent for biometrics
In relation to
another post of a similar topic, the theme of biometrics seems to be
taking a strong lead in the governments effort to combat crime and illegal immigrants.
What does all of this tech mean for us citizens which will be affected by it? Does this mean that we will not be able to pee in a dark alleyway, or
drive 1mph over the speed limit, as our every move will seemingly be tracked by the man.
I am one for tight controls on topics that warrant tight controls, but to have each and every citizen of this country figuratively "peeing in a cup"
on a daily basis is simply outright insanity.
If this tech becomes prevalent, we will most definitely be living in an Orwellian society with little to no personal freedom.
Thoughts?
