Peaceful alien myth?

The peaceful alien believe there due to believe of them transcending the basic needs of survival due to abundance and accessibility to resources though much better methods or tech.

They would literally not have to fight their own, where would probably be worldly peaceful or mature enough to just focus on the species then subtle differences other then skin or believes.

Currency would be more of an agreement then of demand in that scenario.

Thing is though, they could have way to much recreational time, where they could be very competive an arrogant then us, but channel it much better for their own productivity or development.

And to add the fact they would be more advanced then us, so who knows what hell they put themselves through to point they could have wiped themselves out a good reminder on their collective consciousness, or dna.

Isn't it possible that just like us their advancements have been due to war. In fact you could assume that if anything they are more violent and war prone due to the fact that they are more advanced.
