Did you not say he also had a 9mm. Which is what many officers use. What about it being a 22magnum. Which shoots harder.

There are all kind's of .22's.

Really? Well, being someone who was raised around guns, I can quite confidently tell you that unless all of those people that were shot with a .22 caliber gun were shot directly in the head or in a vital organ such as the heart or kidney, they did not die from a .22 caliber bullet. I can tell you that unequivocally.

Actually SpeakerofTruth you are incorrect. One of the most deadly bullet wounds that you can receive is from a .22, ask a medical person. This is because the bullet rapidly loses its power once it enters the body and does not have the power to punch back out the other side. This creates a scenario like a bullet being fired into a tank, it ricochets around in the softer interior tissue and bones until it comes to rest. So despite the fact that it may not kill as on the spot as a larger caliber gun, the internal damage it causes will make folks bleed out internally before all the holes can be plugged up. A more powerful round will either kill outright or make a cleaner wound then a smaller caliber bullet will.

I have said everything you just stated... However, just because it ricochets that does not mean it will hit a vital organ. I have mentioned that it ricochets several times. I have also stated that it may be the worst type of bullet you can be hit with. Read my posts.

You know what, with all due respect, I am going to take issue with this! On the first day of classes, last semester, a convict escaped from a hospital and was seen in the area. Guess what they did...locked down the campus!
Grover can attest to this fact, they swarmed the campus that day. Of course the cynic in me says that they only did that because another cop had been killed.

Kill two birds with one stone. You're both correct. Not just attention from the war but from E-Mail Gate.

I'd believe it was done more to draw attention to the gun laws here than to draw attention away from the war..
Ayup. My guess is, military weapons, is that your guess, Grover?

also those type of weapons do not shoot through doors which several of the students who barricaded themselves in their classrooms have reported happening.

Like I said in an earlier posting from what I am hearing here, again 35 miles from the site, the man had ammo belts on.... I have marksman and sharpshooter ribbons from the military and .22's and 9 mm do not come with ammo belts... also those type of weapons do not shoot through doors which several of the students who barricaded themselves in their classrooms have reported happening.
