Ann Coulter is a rascist, a bigot, a coward and a buffoon, if this person said we should nuke Israel because they are a threat what would the reaction be. She is loose cannon and one that needs to be spiked.

I couldn't say it better.

is it all lefties that disagree/bash her? here on this thread. Or are there some republicans, bashing to?

I am neither republican nor democrat and I'm neither a leftie nor a rightie. Does that count?

Ann Coulter is a horse's patoot, and the only explanation I have heard for her and Bill O'Reilley, is that Republicans need someone to look moderate beside. Too bad either of them have a forum, as there's enough hate in this world without seasoning it with agressive stupidity, too.

Just my 2 cents (cdn)

Well I guess no one else here will chime in , so I like her.

She IS smart, and the John Edwards deal was funny if you heard the whole context in relation to the Grey's Anatomy issues.

Heck I even use one of her sayings as my tag, and to think I took Patton off to add her....(Maybe I was wrong there), but the thing is she can piss the left off like no one else, and that is enough for me.

Ever wondered what she said? Take a look at a thread I started years ago and it got closed..

Top 25 Ann Coulter Quotes about Liberals!

It was going so well too, but I had to leave for a long time and it was closed..ah well....

And they still make sense 2 years later

23) "The leaders of the modern Democratic Party, Hannity says, have made excuses for evil for so long that they cannot recognize evil anymore. The closest thing to it in their vocabulary would be "someone who wears fur." And of course, they recognize evil in the person of "George W. Bush," whom they see as the very essence of evil. In fact, Bush may be the only force of evil in the world liberals haven't wanted to appease."

15) "Liberals said Reagan was dangerous and his rhetoric scary. They ridiculed him as an idiot for believing the Soviet Union could be toppled. They opposed him on every front -- strengthening the military, aiding and arming anti-Communist rebels around the world, invading Grenada, preparing to win a nuclear war, building a nuclear shield, and waging a spiritual crusade against Soviet totalitarianism. Reagan said the Soviet Union was an evil empire and we would prevail. He called the ball, the shot, and the pocket, and he won the game. But now we're supposed to believe he was lucky. Liberals lie about Reagan's victory because when Reagan won the Cold War, he proved them wrong on everything they had done and said throughout the Cold War."

2) "The common wisdom holds that "both parties" have to appeal to the extremes during the primary and then move to the center for the general election. To the contrary, both parties run for office as conservatives. Once they have fooled the voters and are safely in office, Republicans sometimes double-cross the voters. Democrats always do."

These are just a few -- go read them and then call her an idiot...

speaking your mind doesn't count for much when it's full of the idiocy and lies that ann coulter has in hers.

people shouldn't just speak their mind for the sake of speaking their minds.

her job is to anger people, that's all she knows how to do. she can't carry on a civil discussion, she hardly knows what she's talking about, and she's not above just outright insulting people when she doesn't know what to say.

Yes, I agree with you .:up

I agree with some of the things she says. although rude. I personally, always thought John Edwards was soft around the edges.
and i just cant bring myself to like any of the dems of late. So i find humor in most she says.

Well I do like her most of the time, the comment about Edwards was blown out of whack, it was in reference to a Grey's Anatomy show issue and everyone missed it.

Anne Coulter is a shock artist who makes a damn good living off of her words, esp. her books.

You may not like what she says, but that's too bad. She has every right to say it.

People try to use the Canada/VietNam thing as proof that she doesn't know what she is talking about, but everybody makes a mistake. None of us are perfect.

She's not a politician, so the damage her words can do is relatively minor. If you don't like her, don't listen to her.

I personally think the world is a much richer place because of the Anne Coulter's of the world.

I agree, and i do like her, and agree with alot shes says. As i stated above. The more I listen to her, the more I like her. I like her rants pertaing to lefties. I do find them to be funny. Because I dont know, most dems to me are just freaks, with their way of thinking and presenting themselves. But thats just my opinion ofcourse.

She is definitely one of a kind for sure........

the more Listen to her the MORE I like her...

And it doesn't hurt that the Tulipwalkers hate her so much, she gets under their skin and therefore does a great job and has my attention.

you're either joking or a name-calling idealogue. because ann coulter says things out of pure ignorance of a situation

did her saying that canada joined in with vietnam make you like her more?
did her use (and then defense of) a slur against homosexuals make you like her more? the one she said shouldn't be taken as offensive in ANY circumstance
do her horribly written, innaccurate books that are full of outright lies make you like her more?
do all of her hateful diatribes help you like her?

seriously, what's the appeal? is it comfortable to be in the same boat of ignorance as her?

One thing she is not is ignorant. Yeah she has had her share of goofs but who hasn't? She seems to know her subjects VERY well most of the time.

The Canada thing was funny for sure - A goof nonetheless.
What she said in the Edwards comment was pure and simple about the Grey's Anatomy episode and that a guy had to go to counseling for calling someone a "f" word. It was a joke, and a good one I thought, but that was just because I knew of the GA deal. It was sharp humor at its best, but the politico's made it something it wasn't.

Horribly written? She is laughing all the way to the bank. Do you not understand political humor? She is the anti-AL Franken.

The Appeal is she calls it like she sees it and most of the time I agree with her. Is it comfortable to be called ignorant? What is ignorant in regards to not buying into the Tulipwalker agenda? Hell I am proud that I am not part of it and stand up and call it like I see it.

I bet you own Al Frankens books don't ya?

I was going to preface this post by asking just exactly what a tulipwalker is, but edsinger has kindly provided the definition. According to him, it is: 'A single grouping of leftist, liberal, communist, pinko, enviro-nazi tree hugging, anti-American peace nicks.'

I'm confused. Although all of those attributes are presented in a disparaging manner I don't know what is bad about caring for one's fellow man, providing health care, giving them a hand up when they need it, trying to give them the tools to help themselves...well, I'm not gonna argue the benefits of communism, but just ask what knee-jerk right wing psychobabble lumps it in here at all...with nazis no less.

The environment is going to crap...sustainability is an issue to anyone who pays attention. I mean conservatism used to be a noble cause...not my political nature but that's ok. Now it is greedy, mean-spirited...evil isn't too strong a word for what I see emerging from the right wing. And they're oh so proud of it, and they have Ann Coulter egging them on. I really can't figure it out.

It's like Slim Pickins riding that A-bomb down like a bronc. Sure we're all screwed, but we might as well make a ride of it. Easier than trying to fix things, anyway.

Just a quick follow up...anybody recognise the following?

We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently. We are different from all the oligarchies of the past, in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just round the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means, it is an end.

...give ya a hint. Later, it goes on to say "If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face -- for ever."

Mods, I'll give 20 points to the first of my right wing pals who guesses the source. It will give me hope to know that they have the potential to visualise the logical outcome of their dogma.

1984.

On topic...

I'm far less troubled by Ann Coulter, than I am of those who actually believe in her moronic statements.

She knows precisely what she is doing...and it has earned her a comfortable living. I have always felt her objective is a personal wealth building strategy and has little to do with political ideology.

I actually find it amusing her supporters don’t realize that the blood she is sucking happens to be theirs.

Perhaps there is divine justice after all…

Don't you just love life's little ironies?

EDIT: Btw, keep the points... I never use them anyway...

Would you have preferred a enviro-facist?

You can lump those on the right however you like, but the right does stand for some things that I believe are truth.

One big one is small government, the government can do nothing but screw something up. I believe in capitalism not socialism. I grew up in the south and know full well what government handouts lead to. We are a socialist nation whether you believe it or not. We have been since FDR.

As for the others in the definition, well lets just say that was created to lump the 'left' into a category for the many flags I wore with honer. I could be called anything and the minute I fought back another badge. So 3 years ago I started using this term to lump the like minded together.

The one thing I deliberately left out of the definition was anti-Christian, and there was a reason for it. Some Christians can believe in some of these agendas and yet still hold their faith. Others can not.

Is the environment so bad? Well lets see, in the 1970's I would not have eaten a catfish out of the Mississippi river where I lived at the time. Now I would. Our rivers are cleaner than than have been for 100 years and yet it is not good enough for some, they want Nature to be first and not man. That is not what I believe at all. One prime example is the Oregon Owl story, 25000 loggers lost their livelihood to save a damn spotted owl. That was wrong imho.

I also worked in a place where an endangered 'cricket' no less was spotted and has not been seen since and yet the land is off limits now just in case it appears again. This is taking environmentalism to the utmost in stupidity. We are to be good stewards to the land, but we are not to worship it!

Anti-Americanism - Its rampant here and has been for the 4 years I have been here. It makes me sick, the US can never do right in anyone's eyes no matter what.

Iraq is a prime example - the peacenicks will be anti-war no matter what until the Islamic cowards are beheading their uncles and by then it will be to late.

Ann Coulter calls it correct the majority of the time. Am I stupid for believing this? well its a matter of opinion I guess, but I stand by my statement.

For those who think I am nuts, just keep on believing the AL Frankenists and Michael Moores of the world, its cool and vogue to do so till it starts effecting you personally. By then, you might be able to look back and be thankful that there were those that were willing to call it like they see it and to do something about it. History repeats itself and those that cry the rivers of Chameberlanism will never see the light till it bites them personally.

My Opinion on this matter

Free speech pertains to everyone, no matter who you are you can say anything you want, not matter how stupid or intelligent your comment may be.
