They're mostly Egyptian though, which is kind of a red flag. But we have our people, we feel safe knowing

Really? One Egyptian, one from Lebanon, two from the UAE and the rest from Saudi Arabia. That's mostly Egyptian????? Who does your research?

Wrong. There were two groups of fighters in Afghanistan. One were Afghans fighting for their freedom, these were the men that the CIA supplied. The other group were Arab Muslims that were supplied and trained by people like Osama.

All of it, you made a statement about two groups please show your proof that you are right, by backing up your statment with creditable sources.

Well now, thats the rub isnt it? What I might consider a credible source may not be accepted by you. What is your idea of a credible source?

Hasn't the FBI come out and said they have no credible evidence connecting OBL to 911? He's wanted for some other stuff, but not that. The president has said that HE'S not concerned about him.

As an aside, wouldn't it be great if they could somehow bottle Bush's mental state so that you could experience it for a couple of hours. It might get people off crack.

yep, OBL is not even on the FBI most wanted list

There is this...

Lie: The CIA trained Osama Bin Laden, and his supporters, in how to wage terror as a weapon of war.

Fact: The CIA trained absolutely no one in Afghanistan, or in neighboring Pakistan, neither in the tactics of terror or even in how to use the Stinger missiles provided to the Afghans.

The entire CIA effort in Afghanistan was more logistical than operational. Vince Cannistraro, the National Security Council staff director who headed up coordination of policy for Afghanistan in the mid-1980’s told author Peter Bergen that there were only six CIA employees in Pakistan at any given time – and none actually in Afghanistan – and that they were administrators rather than field officers. Bergen also reports that CIA officials only rarely met with leaders of the Afghan resistance, and never with the Arabs who came to the jihad.

What the CIA did, in reality, was buy weapons, ammunition, and supplies, in vast quantities. The Pakistani intelligence agency, the ISI, distributed the weapons and supplies once the Americans delivered them. This was a fundamental rule of Pakistani policy according to Brigadier Mohammed Yousaf, who ran the ISI operation in Afghanistan between 1983 and 1989: No American was to come into contact with the mujahedeen and no American was to be involved in the distribution of arms or supplies once they arrived in Pakistan. So far as the Arabs who went to the jihad, such as Bin Laden, were concerned, there was even less contact between them and the Americans. The Arabs had their own sources of funding and support, and no need of the Americans at all.

Or this....

You often hear that the CIA trained Osama Bin Laden when he was part of the mujahideen in Afghanistan. Is this true?

I am so glad you asked that question. The CIA never trained a single Arab. Nor did it ever recruit a single Arab. And the Arabs as a matter of fact — there were a few rich ones that were kind of drifting around the fringes of the Afghan war to get their ticket punched as having been warriors, which they were not. But the idea that we trained him is absolutely 100% false. And also the idea that they’re using arms that we furnished is also false.

My question is: How, if OBL didnt admit it, does this all tie to him?

He did admit to it, in two different videos.

Then why does the FBI say there isn't enough evidence to put him on the "Most Wanted" list?

Lies of the Left II: Osama
By William Bacon
FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, January 09, 2003
From almost the first days of the War on Terror, leftists and anti-American writers and speakers have blamed the U.S. and the CIA for “creating” Osama Bin Laden and his Al-Qaeda network. They have argued that the U.S. support for the Afghani mujahedeen fighters, funneled through the CIA and Pakistani intelligence agencies, allowed Bin Laden to build his network and, in time, turn it against the U.S. Among intelligence experts, this phenomenon is called “blowback” – the occasional situation of an agent turning against his handlers and supporters. Although blowback could be a reasonable fear with creating an agent, it doesn’t apply here, in fact, most of the claims of leftist critics are completely unsupported by facts.

It is my opinion that the FBI faked the videos, to spread the Bush administration terror campaign. I guess they knew it would not hold up in a court of law because it is not hard to prove that the man in those video tapes is not Ben laden when the real one would be sitting in the courtroom, LOL that is if the real bin Laden is ever found.

Don't listen to the government shills and disinfo agents who infest this board. Their claim that Osama bin Laden confessed to 9/11 is total BS. Hell, even the FBI says there's not enough evidence against bin Laden to send to a grand jury. 9/11 was an obvious inside job, al-CIAduh doesn't exist and the entire "war on terror" is a sophisticated psyops operation.

Bin Laden says he wasn't behind attacks

September 17, 2001 Posted: 11:21 AM EDT (1521 GMT)

DOHA, Qatar (CNN) -- Islamic militant leader Osama bin Laden, the man the United States considers the prime suspect in last week's terrorist attacks on New York and Washington, denied any role Sunday in the actions believed to have killed thousands.

In a statement issued to the Arabic satellite channel Al Jazeera, based in Qatar, bin Laden said, "The U.S. government has consistently blamed me for being behind every occasion its enemies attack it.

"I would like to assure the world that I did not plan the recent attacks, which seems to have been planned by people for personal reasons," bin Laden's statement said.

"I have been living in the Islamic emirate of Afghanistan and following its leaders' rules. The current leader does not allow me to exercise such operations," bin Laden said.

Asked Sunday if he believed bin Laden's denial, President Bush said, "No question he is the prime suspect. No question about that."

Since Tuesday's terrorist attacks against the United States, Bush has repeatedly threatened to strike out against terrorism and any nation that supports or harbors its disciples.

"To the American people, this is my message to you: a reminder of the reasons behind 9/11 and the wars and the repercussions that followed and the way to resolve it," the message said.

"From the beginning, we have stated many times ... that the cause of our disagreement with you is your support of your allies, the Israelis, who are occupying our land in Palestine. Your stance along with some other grievances are what led us to carry out the events of 9/11."

In the ten minute recording the voice which is purported to be that of America's most wanted terrorist, says the U.S. president is "powerless" to stop the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The authenticity of the audio recording could not be independently verified.

The message was released by As-Sahab, Al-Qaeda's media wing, and distributed to several Jihadist websites. Part of the taped message condemns the United States support of Israel.

"We have already shown, and we have stated many times in more than two decades since the start of our disagreement with you, which is caused by your support for the Israelis who are occupying our land of Palestine, and which led us to carry out the events on September 11, 2001," the voice says.
