"We are placing these people back into February. We are dealing with a public health issue and the extension of Daylight Saving Time at both ends is extending the period of year in which people are most vulnerable to depression."

Could the government have known this all along? Did they implement daylight savings time to exploit this?
Here is the article

Seasonal Affective Disorder, or SAD.
I'm actually laughing as I type this.
Sad, indeed.

People want to blame the season for their actions.

Wow. Just, wow.
SAD, indeed.

How is this in any way implying that seasons are affecting peoples actions
It may be affecting peoples mentality (debatable) but no one metioned anything about affecting actions? You can't go from A to C.

Please read the article.
Cravings for sweets and carbohydrates.

Please, spare me.

People claim cravings, to excuse their actions.

Sorry, I don't buy that excuse.
Might just be me.

I feel what you are saying, but it could affect hormonal balance which increases CRAVINGS. Its up to the will of the person to decide whether or not they wish to give in to those affects. Its not saying that it will affect their actions, only their cravings. Trust me though, a buch of fat housewives and lazy husbands are gonna exploit this, no doubt

Just an excuse for people that turn emo when they don't see the sun.
Nuff said.

Though they say that you can get a disorder in which your bones weaken if you lack ''sun'' for a long period of time.

=D I just noticed it. lol

Though it is sort of rubbish, when time gets shifted forward by one hour here.
The sun actually is up when I wake up (and I wake up at 6 am, shifting MY wake up time to 5 am ''standard time'').

Rendering these complaints useless for me.

Not only that, but it can also mess up your biological clock and give your teeth and bones and extra dose of of Vitamin D.

Meanwhile, the time switch could shake up your biological clock, rattle your mood and give your bones and teeth an extra dose of vitamin D.

Plus it doesn't even save energy!
