I think coloring the Wings on the actual plane is out of the question as Nygdan pointed out...
Aircract wings, if they're painted at all, are painted nice uniform grey color. If you look closely at the image, you can see where the white ends, there are two slightly darker shapes coming back at an angle from the white. They're at an angle though, as aircraft wings are swept for speed issues.
