Hitler: Does anyone know what really happened?

I have heard so many different things in my life concerning What happened to Hitler its not funny. I have heard he commited suicide and I have heard he was exiled to Russia.

I just want to know does anyone happen to know the whole truth?

He definitely offed himself. No way he was going to be taken by the Russians alive.

Hitler, as we all know was an egomaniac. He was completely focused on the furtherment of something he wasn't, and he refused to belive that he looked ludicrous doing it.

He was also a genius, and a phenomenal public speaker. Now, all that aside, Hitler was, in fact, insane. He was very centered on the Nazi movement, and he would do anything to further it.

So, WTF does all that have to do with anything, Loki? you might ask. Well, I'll tell you. Hitler was so hung up on all of this that he would not have gone peacably into the custody of the russians.

Basically, my stance is that I have 100 dollars here that says Hitler took a Luger bullet to the dome, that day in berlin.

If it wasn't in fact a luger bullet, then in all honesty, it came from a Russian made gun.

That's all I really have to say on it.

Another thing that I have heard is that they have some of his body parts locked up in the Kremlin. Does that have any truth to it?

I recall seeing photos from Soviet archives in a documentary on The History Channel that showed a dead body that looked somewhat like Hitler. Ths was disputed however and to the best of my knowledge, there is no "official" history of Hitler's fate after the defeat of the Third Reich.

It seems to be one of many grey areas in history.

I know its not glorious but that twat just took a cyanide pill and took his girlfriend Eva Braun with him into death.

All this on 30. 4. 1945 in the Reichskanzlei-shelter in Berlin as it was already surrounded by Sovjets. The dead bodies have been burned.

That's basically what I remember(but the date) and I confirmed with several online and offline resources.

I like the story that he went to South America. Hitlers body was not discovered immediately after the war and when it was some years later, the dental records did not match those that were on file.

The Nazi's were also the first people to use plastic surgery which they perfected and it is rumoured that Hitler may have benefited from this also.

Lastly, Hitler was known to have several body doubles (annother Nazi first), and that is who is rumoured to be the body that was discovered.

It is an interesting way to pass some time by investigating this story.

Not only was Hitler an egomaniac, he was a traditional 'mommas boy', which I believe is the reason for his hatred of Jewish people. Atleast that's what I learned in school.. since his Mom got beat or something by her jewish husband. My memory is fuzzy.. I recall hearing about him poisoning his wife, and killing himself.

I never heard anything about him having doubles, but i'm sure that is a possibility. I doubt there could be a dead body photo of someone looking like Hitler/that is Hitler, because if Hitler did skip out, he no doubt would have changed his appearance.

I don't remember reading about a Jewish father of Hitler, he hated Jews for other reasons, I don't remember.

He killed himself (I can't remember by which method) and then German soldiers, on his orders, took his body (I think down to sewers, can't remember :puz and set light to his body. According to a program I watched on BBC the other week anyway

I believe Hitlers anti Jewish ideas originated when he was rejected twice from the Vienna School of Fine Arts. He beleived his application was rejected by Jewish teachers.

Im nearly positive his father was not Jewish but there was some distant connection in the family. His father died when he was young anyhow so im not sure about the whole beating thing.

I beleive his anti Jewish ideas were more to do with his meglomania and need to be elected than for any more "practical" reason.

I think Hitler's grandparents were jewish or in some other way.

I think he took his dog, also. All dogs go to heaven, though, so it didn't do him much good.

I've heard from my teacher that Hitler was treated very badly by the Jewish people so in the end he hated them. As Hitler was growing up he had a Jewish teacher that was being unfair to him. Later on he joined the military then his commanding officer was also a Jew who had also treated him like scum. So, he had a bad outlook on the Jews and he thought all of them were the same so he hated them.
