Secret Government

Bill Moyers video documentary, The Secret Government is available on line in its full length version. It talks about how the founding principles of the U.S. have been butchered along with hundreds of thousands of lives by covert operations of the U.S. in other countries. Also asks the question, will the people making all this happen also use there power, being unchecked, to execute the same operations in the U.S?

Well now. I wouldn't say their un-checked.

The documentaries I have been exposed to the explain the "necessatated" need for cover-up explaining the very use of the word I just coined.

The desires of the few can easily be countered these days.

It doesn't take a genius.

OK I can see that there is a necessary need for secrecy depending on the situation. But is this need to keep criminals free? And un punished?

As to the desires of the few being countered. How is it you can say that? What documentaries have you been exposed to? I might shugest this one,

Let's just say I saw a clip of a big-bangy-thingy that one person assembled his self.

Rumors abound that this info. is out. In focus.

It's funny, though. Most assume that the need for secrecy is to keep people complacent. However, let's say that a laptop was wisked away listing the agents that participated in these endeavors. No limelight. They would just get wisked away by like-minded fellows, operating under another foreign interest.

Things are never what they seem.

Ok so your saying you saw a clip from one sorce and you are offering no other information or a sorce that secrecy and deception in the level we have it now is necessarcy for anything other then to maintain the satus quoe?

Absolutely. I was furthering your comment that these organizations exist.
I just put a different spin on it.

There is a secret gov't. They do have _some_ things that are not known to many. They enforce their doctrine on those who would not do otherwise. However, this stance, given current events, is prone to "back-fire".

Oh ok, to make sure I understand you. You are saying there is the secrete government and you support what the secrete govenment does?

Look. Take it from me. I've seen some pretty freaky Sh*t goin' on around. Only possible explanation is some type of experimentation on/by all parties involved.

ok, thanks for making that clear. Since I have grilled you with questions on your views I will make some of mine apparent also. I do realized that the security, meaning the NSA, CIA which hear in this thread is being called the secrete government, is needed. I do not support some of the things they have been doing in the past, which includes putting the dictators into power which kill hundreds of thousands of people. That is what I mean when I say they are operating unchecked.
Did you watch any of the video that I gave the link to? They do explain a lot of why I feel the way I do.

I quit clicking links in this board some time ago due to various infections.
I'm not being specific towards you.

They have admittedly set up secret court systems that investigate people of interest. This is reportedly occuring on what is said to be millions of people. Yet, you seldomly here of an arrest. They're information gathering. With the sole purpose of being able to document should the need for that information arise at a later time. Namely, voicing out against the gov't. I kno. I've hacked when the Bozo Patrol is on duty. Not a very difficult task at all.

I can say from personal experience that they "try" to operate un-checked; but, the world in which we live is a chaoctic one. Full of surprises.

Yes, there are secret facets of the gov't that "perform" tasks which most would not agree with. They are, however, not un-checked. And leave much to be desired.
