You got to admit, for something like what the Saints have went through in the past year or so, I got to admit it. It feels mighty damn good to see a team like that make the NFC Title Game.

Really, what was your basis? Because they are uber good, lets say in the last 10 years? No, are you from New Orleans, if you are, of course you pegged them to go.

This is the modern NFL, the past 10 years means nothing at all.

They have the play makers at the skill positions. The O line is solid, and the defense is good, if not great. In other words, they have everything they need to win it all, without any glaring weaknesses.

I'm from central Pennsylvania, BTW, the name should tell you where I'm at.

I don't care what era it is.

I bet you wouldn't pick Oakland to go all the way next year.

I would have never said that about the Saints last year at this time, either. But, watching them play throughout the season, they have a solid team, that will be really tough to beat.
