And when the time came . . . they made their voices heard with majority votes.

If the American people has been asked to vote for a war, I bet we will never had gotten in the mess that Iraq has become.

But that was a decision taken by our elected government in pursue of their own personal agendas, not the people's agendas.

Opinions change. At the start of this war, the American people were in overwhelming support of the invasion. I can dig up the stats if you really want.

A vote of the people to declare war isn't how the system works. On all grounds, the invasion and occupation was legal.
