Major Christmas SnowStorm!!!!! Dec 25 - 26

Although there is still alot of uncertainty with the track of the storm.. the main consenses in the GFS has been just west of the apps.... So here is my first guess.... will know much more saturday night and sunday as to the exact path, but I think this is going to be close....

By your maps I shoulds get a ... 3-6inches of snow!

man.. someone in the snow area is getting dumped... this is a first guess.... I posted about this storm a ways back... I have had one hell of a time trying to figure out where it will snow, where it will mix... it's tough to get the snow area, cause of the wild temp swings...

Looks like Michigan gets more snow than the other map indicates.

The Weather Channel is not showing any accumulation from this system.

As of Sunday night, our latest projection is rain will likely overspread the region by Christmas late afternoon and changeover to snow, Christmas night. After the changeover, there is still a possibility of 1" - 3’’ of snow across much of Southeast Lower Michigan through Tuesday. Locally higher accumulations of 2" - 4" may fall across the highlands of Livingston, Northern Oakland and Southern Lapeer counties.
