Yeah how strange is that, that Artest is banned for 73 games but can come back for the play offs if the Pacers get there

Also the reason why Jackson did not get the same ban as Artest is because Stern took into consideration past misdemeanors

in the paper here in nyc, they had an interview with his father and he believes that his son wasnt in the wrong for running into the stands to beat up somebody half his size.

HE was calling his boy a saint and was a loving and caring person, and everybody in his hometown think that the fans are wrong, some people are too stubborn to realize that these actions were wrong by artest. That even though people will throw stuff onto the field, court ice or whatever, a player should never go into the stands and attack somebody.

In Europe if things get thrown on to pitch/court etc the home team normally gets punished with a Fine/playing game(s) behind Closed doors

there is enough blame to go around here as i have said before, for ron artests dad to say something like that is inconcievable to me, sounds like they both need to grow up and at least be honest enough to be able to say they made a mistake....todays world is full of victims, it's a shame that neither one of these guys are man enough to admit they are wrong....
