When will Barry get his 700th home run?

I'm saying Wednesday, September 15th, at Milwaukee...

Other ideas?

I know Barry loves hitting against the D-Backs. So I say this series. On the 13th maybe... I'm trying to see if he play the Rockies in April next year. I'm gonna get my dad's to get tickets to all the games, so I may be there to see Bonds hit number 715. Who knows, I might get lucky and catch the HR.

I guess we were both wrong. Any other ideas?

I'll say Friday night against the Padres.

Padres have Jake Peavy pitching today and Bonds is 4 for 13 with two home runs against him. Last homer he hit was Sunday against the Diamonbacks so he is well overdue one.

It's official now, he did it!

And the fans are fighting over the ball in left-centerfield....

i saw a chart on espn, saying how many games it took him to hit 100 home run's and each time he hit 100 it was much quicker to the next one at times there was a huge drop off, off 100 games.

I think the only questions left to ask are when? And How many?

I bet he passes Ruth yet this season, and passes Aaron early in '06.

And he ends up with over 800 for his career.

I'm glad he'll finish with about 710 this season. They always lay the Rockies early in the season, and I told my parents that for a "late" christmas present I want tickets to the 3-game series. I just hope their first series is at Coors field. And I know those tickets will sell fast, so I better order them ASAP.

Did you order them yet?

He won't catch Babe this season but I have no doubt it will happen early next season. He is still 14 from tying Ruth with only 12 games remaining this season, never happen. If he has a typical Bonds season, he will be in Aaron territory this time next season.

you mean 13 behind Ruth. I haven't ordered them yet because there is no schedule for the 2005 season yet.
