Too bad for Gagne. It had toi hapen sometime. Nice to see a Canadian set a record that is gonna last for quite a while though, and hestill is by far the best closer in the Majors, and probably the best ever.

The thing about a streak like that, is that if you screw up one pitch, it can be over. I think it will stand until robots take over the game.

Well like everyone else said, it had to end sometime.


I'm just happy that the Giants weren't the ones to end it and that we won the game eventually tonight.


We're now 1 game back of the first place San Diego Padres and 1/2 a game back of the 2nd place Giants.

It's still a pretty amazing streak, even though he didn't hit 100 games. What's the longest consecutive saves streak all-time? Was this it?
