Uses of Electro Magnetic Pulse Weoponry

Hasn't it donned anti-missle defense strategists that this may be the answer?

The advateges is that it would be extremly cheap to manufacture this type of war head. And it doesn't need to be a true "explosive". When detnoated, any incoming missles with-in the large area of affect would be short circuited netrualized inmeadiately.

Any disadvanteges would be if the EMP missle mis-fired, or exploded before launched. Its effects would be devastaing.

Hmmm... about the technology... how do you make an EMP without a nuclear explosion?

im sure if a ww3 breaks out emp will praticaly determen the winner

You don't need an atomic explosion. Think about it like this.

An electro magnet constantly gives off it's effect (assuming its on). Think of an EMP working like the energy is stored, and then released like a "pulsing wave". As if an electro magnet was breifly turned on, affecting a great area. An EMP bomb is set off with a miniscule explosion that could barely quailfy as one.

So its like the [EMP] side affect of a nuclear explosion, without the nuclear explosion.

It is disturbing knowing that anyone can build a EMP weapon for only $400.

Bombs are the least of your worries. Why not worry about the water supply? Posions are considerably more disturbing than explosives.
