Vietnamese boy sold as 'dog meat'


The Vietnamese eat dogs for luck and health .

Vietnamese drug addicts kidnapped a mute teenager and sold him as dog meat, state media reports.
The Gia Dinh Xa Hoi (Family and Society) newspaper said two addicts took the homeless 13-year-old from a market in Halong city.

They tied up the boy, put him in a sack and sold him to a restaurant for 300,000 dong ($19), the report said.

The restaurateur released the boy, fed him and told the police. No arrests have been made yet, the newspaper said.

Thats so evil, that poor boy must be totally traumatized right now. I'm glad the restaurantaur had the good heart and sense to do that for the child. This could be considered a Miracle.

i was thinking that as i read it... luckily he wasn't.

I guess that restaurant doesn't really have much in the way of quality control when it comes to what they buy.
First bad idea is buying any kind of food from drug addicts.
Second bad idea is then trusting someone enough to buy a bag full of any meat without first just looking at it or maybe smelling it or something.
I mean who works at a restaurant and doesn't bother to examine what they're buying food wise??? Especially when your spending 300,000 Dong!!! That is a lot of Dong Dammit!!

You only think of dog meat as disgusting because you don't eat it all the time. The vietnamese probably think we're wierd because we eat cow. If people would get rid of mental blocks, we'd be a much better society. Don't judge other civilizations on our terms.
