In the "Sepher Sephirof," it folllows on from 71, which is a Lunar Female number in the Hebrew Gematria, according to Messrs Alesteir Crowley, which it also seems is the number of "Lam," thee path to follow or not follow.

72 mean's a "Solar," intelligence, ie most simply the Ego, but if follows that behind the Sun the4 Moon over-rules it.

72 X 2 = 144, which is sacred number according to Gnostic scriptures, and also relative to the "Rapture."

The five pointed star became a scientific/religious symbol originally for one reason and one reason alone. Fot those who do not know, even Jesus (Youshua Ben Joseph) was preplanned to achieve a "venus birthing", as were all ancient king/preists of the ancient mysteries. Some more "christian-oriented" Chapters of the O.E.S. believe that the bottom point of the pentagram actuallu symbolizes the "pointing out" of the birthplace of the baby Jesus, for the three Magi to find their way to his birth.

However, I don't ever recommend utilizing the inverted pentagram(as seen in the modern O.E.S.) for any purpose.

A. Crowley was certainly a learned Kabbalist.

But unless you want to awaken in Hell, I'd leave those books alone.

Better to study Samael Aun Weor, Ra Un Nefer Amen, Dion Fortune(who, despite her references to A. Crowley, did recognize that he was a Black Magician), Manly P. Hall, MacGregor Mathers and Wynn Westcott.

Thereafter, Chokmah as �Vav� descends into �Kaph,� the brain (Adam) within the pineal gland (the manger of Bethlehem). From the �Kaph� the effluvia of the Son of God descend into the heart, which is Eve, the other �He�. In the heart is Nous (the Son of Man, Tiphereth) the consciousness of the Bodhisattva (the vessel of light), who is nourished with the fires of Judah (Leo the Solar Light, the Ain Soph Aur).

Aren't there 72 true names of God? Not sure if I'm recalling this correctly, but I believe the high priest would wear a vest with inlaid jewels, each one inscribed with one of the 72 true names of God, when performing the Tabernacle ceremony with the Ark of the Covenant..... I remember they'd tie a white cord to the priest, he'd enter the chamber with the Ark, and then pray for good harvests, etc. If he was found to be unfaithful, the Ark would kill him (turning the cord red to let the others know).
