I dont understand how people die from a typhoon when they are warned about it. You get the warning, and you get out. There shouldn't be any problems.

There are some problems with just simply evacuating. You have to understand that some people don't have the privileges to be able to just up and leave.

It takes money to be able to leave an island by plane, or boat.

Well why can't people share their boats and planes?

You would think people would have hearts and atleast try to bring other people along.

What do the people that stay there do? I wonder if they actually think that they are going to survive.

There would never be enough room for all of them to fit in everyplane and every boat to get away far enough. Would you let strangers onto your private boat, or plane?

I think that the people who stay back, are somewhat hopeful that they and their family will survive the storm.

I sort of have family in the Philippines. My grandpa lives there but he isn't a Philippino.

He did get out of there okay though, he's actually coming up for a visit soon.
