How hard is it to become a fighter pilot?

I am in the Air Force and let me tell you it is not an easy task. First off you have to be under 35 to join the military. Then you have to have at least a bachelor's degree, score very hish on the Officers test(for enlisted its the ASVAB I don't know what it is for officers) then you have to be a certain height, weight, you can not be color blind, also you not only have to go through officer school you have to make it through pilot school and to top it off you have to play alot of politics and get your Top Secret security clearance and this is only the stuff that I know about.
