Please show me a ''real'' pic of saturn.

I have looked everywhere and the only pics i could find of saturn were computor generated images or paintings.

I find this strange that they were able to get pics of some moons of saturn and yet no picture of saturn it self?

So can any of you show me a real pic of saturn please?

The only image that i saw of saturn that looks like the real thing to me is this one.

It's real. As are most of the other ones you've probably seen. I think it's the clarity that's throwing you, but since Saturn is so close, we get a lot of very clear images of it.

This Google Image search will take you to multiple pictures of Saturn.

And the picture posted by Rasobasi420 is indeed real. It was taken byVoyager 2 on August 25, 1981.

Well i do not think it's real, does this picture come from nasa? I don't exactly trust an agency that's put in place to hide all evidence of other lifeforms by airbrushing ufo's or other questionable things from their photo's.

If it's not from nasa then what is the source of the pic? this looks like a bad computor generated image if you ask me...

Look at the pics that cassini took of the saturn moons they are very clear pics so why is there no clear pics of saturn? cassini was right next to saturn.

Those pics from google all looks like computor made images or paintings.

And just because they tell you that the pics were taken by voyager does not mean it's true, they have lied about other things before and the continiue to do so.

Its real trust me.

If your that determined to find out what Saturn really looks like go to your local observatory and have a look for yourself.

So why should i trust your opinion on this picture if you trust nasa?


And yes i could see saturn with a telescope but not detailed enough to make a difference.

Selfless, if you go out to your local observatory, there will be plenty of pics on the wall that didn't come from NASA.

Oh, and BTW chances are the pic you posted was taken by NASA as well.

Ah yes it could be from nasa and you can't tell much from it except that it's the most looking real pic of saturn i'v seen so far. Why is there no clear pics of saturn from nasa since cassini went right next to it? Have you seen the moons of saturns pics? Those looks real, the pics of saturn you showed me just looks like a bad computor generated image.

No offense Selfless/, but it does seem sort of useless to
request pictures of something, and than when you get them,
say they're fake because they're from one of the most official
space agencies in the worldd, that has no reason to create 'fake'
pictures of Saturn.

All the best pictures of Saturn are indeed digital, since the flyby craft couldn't exactly return film to Earth.

But the pictures are as real as the ones you take with your pocket digital camera.

Well this thread is not about nasa but i don't trust nasa for my personal reasons but you can trust nasa if you want, i don't mind.

I really hope this thread doesn't turn into insults but i just want to see a pic of saturn that looks as good as the moons of saturn which looks prety real.

I'm with you, they do look computer generated, but I think we probably don't know enough about it to make clear judgements on it.

have you tryed to google on saturn amatour pics?...maybe you can find what you seek mate...just a idea!

Yeah those looks more real then the nasa pics and supprise supprise they have huge ufo activity in them...

I guess this explains why nasa have no real photo's of saturn for the general public.
