What if we had peace...A scenario
As all-out peace spreads across the Middle-East, exports of Bad-News from the region to the world's media would be severely hit, forcing the price of
bad-news to unprecedented levels of over $76 per column. Western society as we know it would slide into complete happiness and contentment; with
televisions, newspapers, and radios projected to run out of bad-news within a matter of weeks. As the shockwaves of peace begin to affect day-to-day
life in developed nations around the globe, war negotiators would seek to help inflame regional tensions, in order to restore disquiet and inhumanity.
To this end, western media-scientists would be forced to look for an alternative to a dependance on imported bad-news. Indeed, researchers at Fox
media laboratories have succeeded in engineering a television to run solely on synthetic-news, with the aim of making the US self-sufficient.
