Seeing as I'm a bit of a tool, I really didn't think about feedback for the Wilderness Writing Challenge that's currently running. So, please post comments about entries here. Writers enjoy the feedback, trust me.

Uggggggh!!! I HATE writing in the present tense... That felt like a tooth extraction...

EDIT:

OK, mojo4sale I just finished reading your entry...and the others. That's spooky! It's like we were writing the same story from two different vantage points... When I saw you reuse the opening line at the end, I almost fell out of my chair!

Get out of my head, will ya????

...or maybe I was in yours...

For one, there are too damn many of them...at least in some parts of the world.

I might add, however, that the one I used is endangered.
(Would you have expected anything less from me?
)

Thanks for the complements, guys!

I enjoyed your contributions too....

Thanks mojo4sale, hey, how about selling me some of that mojo so I'll be a winner on the next contest, eh?

The mojo's on it's way. The leg bone of a black cat that's been killed in a graveyard at midnight in a cloth sack. Use it wisely, no one can see or touch your mojo or it will lose it's power!

One word.......Bambi. Of course, I suppose death is an escape, when looked at from a certain perspective.
