Hi everyone,

Have you experienced forseeing future events? I want to use this data as a reference point. Please be as detailed as possible. I can not stress this enough. If you can remember the date, time, and your surroundings please include this as well. Did you experience the event in a dream state? Was it in real time? Has it only happened once? Was the outcome the same as you pictured it to be? Have you had a near-death experience before or after this happened?

Appreciate any and all responses.

All I get are those weak mini-premonitions.
But one time in 1999 I had a dream of going to a theme park. Two years later we go to Six Flags over Eliches. Does this count?

You can look into the future, but you'll only see many possible futures. It is near impossible to see far into the future, because it isn't set in stone. I'll just copy and paste my description from elsewhere so it'll save me time.

----
Fortune tellers are people who use divinatory systems to look into the future. However this doesn't work as the general public thinks it does. Often Tarot cards or the glass ball is used, but there are other more daily used methods liked Astrology. Other systems are Ogham, runes, numerology etc.

When looking often into the future one will learn how it works and thus will find the answer to Time and Fate. There are many timelines excisting next to one another, each decision an individual makes will take him into another timeline so the speak. Each decision possible has already been played out. This means we don't have to make our own futures, because all possibilities are already there. All that people have to do is become aware of each decision we can make constantly. So we are responsible of the lives we lead and the futures we get.

Due to the many decisions people can make it is almost impossible to look into the far future. Look at time like a highway with each decision being a road that leads to the next highway. The more time passes, the more decisions one can make, the more often one can change their highway. This means that the further away in the future you look the more variables take part in the equation resulting in loss of accuracy of the reading. You can read 80% accurate in a time span of 3 weeks. Then you will lose about 15% every week you look further into the future.

Using divinatory methods, fortunetelling, is asking a question and having a look into one of many possible futures. It is an advisory tool that allows you to view your options before deciding to make a decision and exit the highway onto that future highway. It allows you to view several outcomes of that one question you have. Never does it tell you what will happen for certain in your future unless you decide to enter that road in time and make that future a reality. This is also how many selffulfilling prophecies occur. They allow to let the reading take control over their lives instead of using it as an advice and nothing more.
---

My experiences started simple as a child. In a dream I would see events taking place in a surrounding as real as waking reality. It started with simple things such as a deja vu feeling. I saw a bus drive away in a street with people walking around and I knew I had seen that before. This also occured with other small things such as people saying specific lines of text, a cup falling of a table just before it happened all sorts of small events.

Later this grew to the point where I dreamed about accidents occuring to people. At first I found it odd that it rarely to never was about people in my near surroundings. I learned that the closer people are to you the less you will see any future events about them. This is due to an unconcious filter of not wanting to know what happens to your loved ones. However due to training the mind and will one can learn to by-pass that filter.

I have strong Deja Vu very very often, at least once a week.

Sometimes however, what I experience is different, there have been several times where an event has occurred in real life, and I absolutely know that I have already dreamed it, dreaming it is different to deja vu.

I have been trying to train myself to lucid dream for several years now, and part of that training requires trying very hard to remember your dreams when you are awake, which I do, this is how I know of some of the dreams I have had, and then low and behold, the event occurs in real life, never really been bad though.

What is scary however, is that lately my dreams have been showing me sometimes in an apolalyptic warzone kind of world, and several different scenarios, sometimes I am having to run and flee in my hometowns mountains and hide etc, sometimes I die, sometimes I am part of a resistance.

But the worst one I have had, is where I have had to lead one of my older sisters children, huband and her to safety from Melbourne (not where I live) and it came down to the decision to stay with them and be captured, or to cut them loose and bail.

I bailed.

i've only had one. It was last year,halloween weekend. Me and 2 other friends went down to hollywood for the weekend. The night before we left for home i had a dream that we were on the side of a dark highway and got hit by a semi. I woke up,thought to myself that that was weird,then closed my eyes again. I had the same dream immediately after. I told my friends about my dream the next morning.(they werent happy about it) Anyway,on our way home we came up I-99,about 10 miles from home and the car starts overheating. We pull over,add some coolant,and try to see if we can continue driving. We get about 2 miles further and we pull over again. I go to grab the coolant,and realize that we left it on the side of the road the first time we stopped.So we ended up walking along the side of a dark highway at 1:30 in the morning,to go pick up our ant-freeze.

We made it home,but it was just wierd that i had that dream,and ended up on the side of a dark highway. But obviously we didnt get hit
I've actually been meaning to post this in the dreams section of bts for a while now,guess i just got an opportunity to tell someone about it.

Only for myself. I have had dreams warning me about coming danger. In the most dangerous times of my life (mainly around one year) I had multiple dreams warning me and when the situation was approaching the dreams made sense. Each time Ilet the situation go to an extent without getting myself in harm's way just to see that the dreams were for reason. I think I am a firm believer we can change things at any time with enough want unless you just submit to a situation.

Instead of "Seeing the future", maybe you should ask if people "knew something was about to happen". Semantics play a role in what people will admitt to.

I remember years ago, I had a dream where I lived in a pine forest. It was one of those dreams that seemed real to me, I still knew it was a dream but I could see prety clearly and took notice of some of my surroundings. I was in a tree city in this forest, looked like the tree city the Ewoks lived in in the Starwars movie. There were quite a few people walking about, climbing up ladders to get up to the buildings, digging through metal containers scattered here and there on the ground, there were also buildings on the ground, like shacks. However the dream was very short, as my attention was drawn to a little table that was sitting outside one of the shacks front doors. And a news paper was on the table. Have you ever tried reading something thats in your dreams? I've only tried it once my self. On the top left corner of the news paper was a big letter O, guess it was the beginning of the heading.
There was a picture on the front page in the center, of a building with smoke comeing out of it like it was on fire, and I SWORE I'd seen this building before. I never picked up the paper to open it, I just looked a little closer and where all the other writing should have been was just jumbled. I couldn't see any letters, just nothing but /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/. I only saw the large letter O at the top. Then the dream ended.
This dream has stuck with me for years, though I never really talked about it. But then the Oaklahoma city bombing happened. When I saw the pictures on T.V. I saw the same picture I had seen on that news paper in my dream that I had about 2 years before the actual bombing happened. Did I tell the future? I dunno, I had no idea what the dream ment. I'm still boggling about it to this day.

Instead of seeing the Future in dreams, I am trying to travel in time, trying to configure possible Future in parallel with other possible future events too. Isn't the same as guessing what is going to happen.

Feels like for me knowing the exact Future, but working out the circumstances of events leading to that Future. That may help preventing other events to happen.

Of course, some help is always useful.

There are 6 elevators that go to my office. I use them no less than 8 times a day. Usually (>60% of the time) I stand in front of the elevator that picks me up.

What can I say? It' hard bein' a pimp.

I learned that the closer people are to you the less you will see any future events about them.

I agree almost completelywith everything else you stated. Especially concurrently existing timelines: Each "decision possible has already been played out"

Consider this - for each and every decision you make in your life, an untold amount of alternate decisions have been made, tested, and then discarded in favor of the chosen choice, which becomes your current reality.

I've personally seen future events concerning myself, and a of few close friends also.

the term for-'see' would not be an apt description.
rather, A 'story' was revealed, more or less as fast as a story is told or spoken

~over the course of 20+ years, more than a dozen scenarios/stories were revealed/disclosed to me in story narrative form, no visuals involved.

most, if not all times, i/we were in the midst of friends, because the 'stories' of something in the future always had importance or meaning to one or more people at that gathering,
you need to know that these 'stories' are more instantaneous than crafted....
although some elements of the futuristic insight might have been rumbling around in my brain, waiting for the proper moment and sequence of people & appropriate time to be revealed in a larger 'story'context.

Have you had a near-death experience before or after this happened?

Appreciate any and all responses.

yes, during this same 2+ decade period of having insights/stories
more or less come to me, (so i could warn people of what to watch out for),
i did have 2 NDEs...24 1/2 years apart
...but i fail to see that being run over by a car and then having a brain hemorrhage
had anything to do with these futuristic episodes.

what may be important is that i was or has strong tendancy & lifestyle of; vegetarian, ascetic, anti-war, yoga practicioner, buddhism & shamanism...
my mental make-up was not corporate nor new-age, just self reliant

~~~~~~~~of course, these could be referred to as schizophrenic episodes,
which anyone other than friends who were familiar with me could venture to conclude.
Now I know what you guys are talking about. Yes, yes, this happens to me on a regular basis. Sometimes when surfing for porn, I see a pic to a link--and I can't explain it, but something tells me it's no good. But, ya know, you're not really thinking with you head at the time. Well, not that hea...nevermind. Anyway, the link takes me to some site with matures or something gross that takes another 10min of hard work to get past.
This happens to me almost every night. It's as though I can tell the future...ya know, know what links are good and what links are bad, before I even click them. I must admit though that this isn't always the case. Sometimes it takes you to a different site, but that site is soooo much better than the one you were going to go to originally. Does that still mean I could see the future? Because, ya know, it still wasn't the site I wanted to go to. It would be so cool if I could hone in and know what site it was going to take me to. Eventually, I could surf for porn in my mind.
Yes I have, because it's mine.
if that makes no sense or sounds unintelligent it simply proves my point.
