stuff like this happens to me sometimes!!!! not as often as it does to you i can only recall a few examples. lots of stuff happens to me i dream while being awake. i sort of semi-dream where i acctually do stuff eg. fight but the things/people im doing it to i dream. i'm fully aware of whats going on while it happens. other people around don't see my semi-dreams. maybe we could a test see if our brains are linked?

I believe I saw an episode of the X-Files (maybe some other paranormal show) that discussed this. I don't really know how to explain this type of event other than telepathy, or something similar.

This would be an interesting experiment actually...

I dont know. I think our subconcious somehow connects on some other level. What if we are all connected? - Like how we have soul mates and also the theory that our spirit friends always meetup together in each life. But thats a whole different story.

This happens alot and when you start noticing it then you see it more often. Maybe when someone is about to phone me there thought signal goes into the atmposphere and my brain is sensitive enough to pickup their signal and it is registered as a thought? - Maybe my cellphone (Which is always on me) helps magnify and pinpoint me??

I've started to get used to it. Like I said, I would think of someone and then say, "X is gonna phone in 1 minute" and then, ring ring or the person would pop round the
corner.

I'll never forget it. It was like I warped into the future and I was in the same situation but everything was...er...futuristic. But, not all weird dreamy like. I was there experiencing every second and thought.
Basically I was in a hospial ward. The bed I was in was mobile but it was designed to fit the person as comfartably as possible. Its hard to describe, I guess maybe an elongated shaped pod. Each bed area had climate control which could be controlled by a set of buttons on the right hand side. I remember because I was cold and I asked how to turn up the heat.
The best part was that the wall of the room rotated and was divided into 4 windows as such. Each window was one of the 4 seasons. What I mean is that for summer for eg, there was a big tree on a hill with all flowers and and plantlife. It looked amazing. Each window would pass by slowly and you could really see alot of depth and almost feel the warmth of a hot summer day. No TV or anything in the room. Maybe the scenes are for calming and relaxing the patients?
The best part was that I could see out the window and this hospital wasa huge skyscraper. It was like a hollowed out cube. I could see small craft floating around and going to various floors. The center was an open courtyard. Really hard to describe. Each corner of the cube was where the elevators were.

I got pushed around on the bed to go to a different room and spoke to some nurses but i dont remember much of the other stuff. Ive just got this vivid memory of that room.

Anyway, sry, I went on a bit and wrote a bit more than I expected but I was asked

I have attached a really cheap picture of vaguely how the room looked.

This happens to us all it seems.I think its because we are very frequency sensitive. We can tune to whos about to phone us(i often phone friends only to find they are trying to phone me at the time)or whos nearby.
I notice it happens more often when im feeling happy and motivated. Also if you make a note of when it happens you may find that the weather has an effect.Seems to happen to me more in the summer.
Our brains can act as a sort of aerial i believe.
Don`t know if this counts but i`ve predicted car crashes a few times.Once it actaully saved my life when i had a really bad feeling about going around a bend,so i slammed on down to 10mph.A second later an 18 wheeler came into view, actually jacknife ing towards me.I got out of the way,as i had the extra time.
Maybe i sensed the frequency of this collosal truck. This is a great tool to use in life.Once we tune into it,or at least are aware, then its most useful.

Maybe our subconscious mind is aware of a whole lot more than our conscious mind,if you take my meaning.
Cool thread.

Sheesh. I can imagine how the hair must stood up on the back of your neck after 18 wheeler incident!

Hehe. It just happend now. I was emailing the office to ask when a customers laptop was going to be returned. I havent even finished the email yet and the customer just phoned me and asked when it is coming in. Even though I told him I would phone HIM when it comes in...

I would like to learn more. Did you see the CNN link where there are scientist doing a study on it telephone telepathy. I wonder if I can sign up to be a guenea pig?

Thanks for the input

Time and space are not linear as they appear - and souls are not separate entities - although are certainly individual as far as consciousness (to what degree I don't know).

But the unseen 'web' that connects us all and makes present and past and future obsolete terms seems to be rising to the surface of humanity's experience and those that tune into it (several examples mentioned here in various fashions) will have more access to it....it's probably some sort of quantum physical thing....who knows?

But the web of souls in the world is the layer right above our 'heads' (so to speak) and if we can stand on a crate and look over the sea of 'heads' we can see a lot more than if we stand on the ground.

That sounds wierd. I hope someone gets what I'm saying - it is so hard to put into words since they seem to be linear, too.

As I posted on your other thread Zenem, I have experianced this kind of reaction before, I just doesn't happen so much anymore.
I think its going to start up again, simply because I'm starting to practice Psionics. I expect alot of werid stuff to start happening.

Heck, alot of really werid stuff has already happened. I've got at least 5 different examples, and I've only been practicing for about two weeks.

I just hope I don't go crazy.

Hey cool. What exactly are you studying? What weird stuff has happend so far?

Definately one thing I have noticed in life is that once you start noticing things and even show friends etc then you see its occurance much frequiently.

Well, the first major side effect of my starting to practice Psionics was really an accident. I was trying to make a Psiball(A gathering of Psi energy in between my hands. If done correctly its supposed to become as dense as a material object, but remain invisible.) and I wasn't doing such a good job. I had a rather large gathering of Psi, but, for some reason, I couldn't push it out of my body. It just swirled there in my gut, until it built up enough to dissipate.
When it did, it didn't feel so good. My body temp. rose about 5-7 degrees in 2 seconds, and I felt like I was going to throw up. After about 3 minutes, it successfullly dissipated and my symptoms drained away.

Another one occured while I was in my 4th period class. I was very bored, so I let my eyes wander while I spaced out. My eyes wandered over to the door of the Classroom, which was wide open.
I spaced out, and suddenly I felt the "Psi" section of my brain sputter to a start. Almost immedately, the door I was staring at started to shut itself. It got about halfway before I realised I was doing it, and then it stopped.
I REALLY wish I could do it again and on purpose, but I can't. It's called Geisting, and will most likely occur at least once after you start practicing.

Those are just some of the things that have happened, and there are probably a bunch more that have yet to happen.

I liked your explaination QueenAnnie. I have noticed the syncronicity for a year or so now. My personal thoughts on it are that something is accessible that wasn't earlier in time. I feel like our thought waves are locating the matching wave and increasing in volume to become manifest very easily. The more you tune into and acknowlege this phenomena the more it seems to happen.

To me it's God winking at us!

This just happened...classic!

I was typing an sms on my phone to a friend asking him to send me a link to download an application for my phone. When I was ready to send I noted that the number was wrong. I then started searching my phone to see if I had his number under a different name.
I didnt, so I saved the message to send later when I get his correct number.

Then....I get an sms from him with the link I was asking for

I had spoken about it the day before but he sms'd totally out of the blue.

Hehe*

IMHO , the " speak of the devil " phenomenon is largely a self fulfilling one .

in the space of a short convo , many names might be mentioned , or alluded to , but do they all turn up , no ? does a person turn up every time you mention them ? - no

you create the illusion because the brain links the sudden appearence of an invididual to the fresh memory of the convo where they were mentioned

you are more often than not , counting the hits , and ignoring the misses .

appologies for being a wet blanket

Ignorant ape
Sometimes you are right, things just happen according to the odds, but......

I think the people who are replying here, for the most part are experiencing something that is above and beyond the odds or the drawing it to yourself explaination or we wouldn't be exploring this thread.

This "phenomena" IMO is something bigger and more magical than "co-incedence"

I could name examples all day long but it is one of those things, either it is apparant in your reality or it isn't. In my world doubling of events/ideas (doubling referring to secondary occurances) and timing and sycronicities with other people are all over the place.

Speak of the devil you say. The power of the spoken word and the ordinary thought have increased dramatically. Call it what you will.....

Speed reading perhaps?

In my earlier posts I mention how I would think of someone & then actually TELL someone with me that that person was going to phone...

Last night was a classic...I was walking with my friends to a club & the thought of my other friend Blue popped into my head and I knew he was gonna phone.
I then turned to my friend and said, "watch in 1 minute, blue is gonna phone" And he did!

The hard part is identifying when it is just a thought or when it is actually the "phone telepathy"

And on page one I have a link to a scientific study on this very subject...it does exist. Its no illusion

So you breathed new life into an old thread, eh?

To really be on topic by the thread title I would like to explore why people use that expression in the first place when applied to coincidence type of occurances.

I think it was originally meant as a negative term that alluded to the power of the spoken word and conjouring. Like when you speak you emit a pattern that possibly can draw to itself that which resonates with it.

Any thoughts?

Good point actually. Sheesh, especially after reading that long dream with the uncle...

I can relate. I often have repetitive dreams which warn me of the road ahead.

Is it good or bad? - I worked with "Heavy Christian" types and I spoke lightly of this sort of stuff but they seem to consider something like this as evil.
Man shouldn't be able to do things like this because in other words he is dealing with things beyond his realm, so to speak
