Having worked in hot climates (up to 120 F, 50 C) don't dismiss the concept of working at night and early morning. People actually do that !

So, if it was just done by pulleys and such why is there a mystery?

Why would he keep that a secret?

What about these claims.

There is, however, skepticism as to the success of the traditional methods of tripods equipped with pulleys and chains that are in the photographs of Leedskalnin working. Skeptics point out that the Tripods appear to only rise about 20 feet while the largest stones are 25 feet long and stand vertical. The tripods are made from wooden telephone poles and could not support the larger stones. There are not enough pulleys to lessen the weight of the stones enough that a 100-pound man could exert enough force to lift the stones. Too many pulleys will actually be counterproductive because of increased friction. The 3/8" thick chains that can still be found in the Tool Room of the Castle Tower and which are seen in the photographs are only rated with a 3.5 ton workload and would not be able to support the weight of the stones

You would have to have a lot of pulleys to redistribute the weight to each tripod, which would of course require more tripods, and that isn't what lifted his stones. There are dove tailed stones in pyramid structures, and the stones weighed 100 tons or more, it impossible to do, there was clearly a secret to moving heavy things that has been lost.

The secret was probably plenty of manpower and time with a lot of experience thrown in.

Much of how they built pyramids was probably sneaky little things like this along with brute man power...as for things like baalbeck www.thefutureisnigh.com... Im pretty sure the same techniques were used...im guessing whoever built the castle did the same...

This is really interesting to me. Honestly i think the answer is really hard work and determination can make anyone achieve great feats. However, this idea of using a device that harnessed the earth's own magnetic field coupled with, i don't know directed sound waves or something fascinating! What if its possible? Think of how a hovercraft works. A inflated skirt that directs air down creating a pressure effect allowing the craft to carry objects as big as two m1a2 Abrams tanks. A airplane wing has its best lifting capability when its in ground effect. Pressure, air, energy, movement? what else?

if the cranes of that time could'nt lift it, what makes you thinka single man with a few TELEPHONE POLES, not rail road ties and some pullys could do it with out some type of ancient technology?
